This trio of polyester knit fabric samples from Blue Ridge Winkler Textiles, a division of Lehigh Valley Industries, Inc. can be used for any number of arts & crafts projects.

The knit samples are in shades of orange red, blue, & purple in a tone-on-tone pattern interspersed with gray. The set of three samples comes with one Blue Ridge Winkler Textile tag identifying one of the colors as "Flame Red."

Each fabric sample measures 36" x 39". The purple sample has a small 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" square cut out of one corner.

Fabric is in good, clean condition.

Gigantic! That's the word to describe the largest mold in this set of vintage chocolate molds. From an avid chocolate maker and mold collector's stash, each of the 5 metal egg molds are in two halves. Although these molds were not manufactured as a set, they fit very well together.

The largest one is marked "made in the U.S.A.," and dates from the 1940s. The next two are marked "T.C. Weygandt Co., New York, U.S.A. Made in Germany," and date from the 1930s. The smaller two do not have maker's marks but are comparable in weight, quality, & manufacture date. The molds are heavy, not thin aluminum.

Molds are in good condition. They show wear & are spotted on the exterior but do not have any dents. The interior of all but the smallest mold are in good condition. The smallest one has a few small rust spots and scrap marks.

This beautiful piece of Higgins glass is one of Frances and Michael's early pieces made in their home studio between 1948 and the early 1950s before their partnership with Dearborn Glass. The piece has a hand-etched signature.

Small and wonderful, the fused glass piece has a striking pattern of muted oranges and pink. Originally intended for use as an ashtray, the dish has indentations on two sides.


Founded in 1948, Frances & Michael Higgins began producing their now famous art glass in their Chicago apartment using kilns set up behind their sofa. Using the ancient art of glass fusing, the Higgins created the quintessential art glass of the Mid-Century Modern era.

The ashtray is 4" x 4" and is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or chips.

Awesome! This is the first edition of this highly collectible farm and veterinary classic. The book is in very good condition for an 19th-century reference book. Both fold-out horse teeth charts are present. The first and larger chart has a few small tears, and is a bit crumpled. The binding is tight. Pages are mostly clean. I noted one horse wood block that had been outlined in pencil by a previous owner. There are a few dog-earred pages. The cover shows typical shelf wear with rubbing and some fraying at the top and bottom of the spine.

This is a big, heavy book, weighing well over 4 lbs. and measures approximately 10" long x 6 1/2" wide x 3" thick.

This vintage Christmas ceramic figurine captures Santa Claus with his sack standing by a red brick chimney. The small chimney opening can be used as a planter, or fill it with decorative holiday candy.

The ceramic figure isn't marked but is in the style of those produced in Japan in the 1950s and early 1960s.

The piece is in good vintage condition. No chips. No cracks. Some crazing. There is some paint loss most noticeably on Santa's cap, arm, and boots. Please look closely at the photographs as they are part of the description.

With illustrations from the Walt Disney Studio, Santa's Toy Shop is a charming vintage illustrated Christmas children's book. Part of the Mickey Mouse Book Club, this edition was published in 1950. The back cover lists other books in the series. This edition has a "C" in the back gutter of the binding.

This vintage owl Christmas card was once part of a Henri Fayette greeting card sample book. Use this wide-eyed owl as a holiday decoration or in a scrapbooking project. The owls arms open out and body lifts up revealing a blank space for writing a personalize holiday greeting.

The card does not have its original envelope, but I will sent the owl along with a complementary vintage envelope.


The owl is 7" tall and 5 1/8" at his widest point and is marked "Henri Fayette Chicago U.S.A." on his back. He has a spot on his back where he was once attached to a sample book page. Hallmark purchased the Henri Fayette company in 1957.

In the days before instant computer generated charts, Dalton's Tables of Houses Spherical Basis of Astrology was (and for some serious astrologers, still is) the definitive reference book for charting horoscopes.

Published in 1975 by Macoy Publishing and Masonic Supplies, Co, Inc., Richmond, Virginia. The book is in very good condition with no underlining or highlighting. Former owner's name written in ink on the back endpaper.

But wait, there's more -- the former owner's astrological reading drawn up in 1978 by the legendary (in astrology circles) Neil Michelsen is included with the book. Michelsen, a former IBM employee, founded Astro Computing Service creating the first computer-generated ephemeris in 1976.

Found in a box of correspondence sent to the USA from Japan in the 1950s, this original silk fabric painting shows a lovely winter scene. Mounted between red-trimmed card stock and a delicate sheet of paper, the painting is in excellent condition.

The charming scene shows falling snow, pine tree boughs, snow-covered lanterns, with a view across water to a red gateway with snowy hills in the background. The red gates stands in sharp contrast to the gray winter sky.

Matting and backing paper are slightly yellowed. Right hand side of the matting (side without the red trim) appears to have been gently torn or cut out of a book or from a back matting board. The piece is not signed.

A beautiful and delicate work of art, it would be a lovely addition to any decor.

Antique brass miniature advertising hand mirror from the late 1800s has a beautiful Art Nouveau design and an image of a Abram Cox Stove.

The small advertising mirror measures mere 3 7/8" long. In addition to the Abram Cox Stove, the mirror is marked "Princess Novelty" and "Requires No Blacking - Handsomest Range Made - For Handsomest Girl See Other Side."

The mirror's handle is marked "Duplicate Mirror Sent for 10 cent stamps Abram Cox Stove Philadelphia, Pa."

This sweet little collectible mirror is over 100-years old and show typical wear. The are some spots on the mirror and the brass has a nice patina of age.

Rare Find! Antique original hand-painted Japanese Union Postale Universelle postcard circa 1910 in very good condition. The card is a painting of Mount Fuji with delicate white sailboats and tree in autumn colors. This is not a reproduction of a painting, but an actual painting. You can see and feel the brush strokes.

Picture this postcard matted and framed and hanging in your living room -- an interesting and beautiful piece of history for your home.

High-quality vintage lucite & silver bead necklace circa 1970s makes a lovely statement in blue aqua. The round beads are graduated, and there are four large lucite beads with an interesting twisted shape. The lucite beads have a slight marbling and are separated by small round silver beads and large silver rondelles.

The necklace has the look and feel of an Ellelle piece as well as a slide-in fish hook clasp that is identical in design to those used by the Italian costume jewelry company. It is not signed. This is a classic disco era necklace.

Vintage 1940s Alamo Pottery planter, this robin egg blue ceramic bowl has wonderful art deco styling. Made by the Alamo Pottery company in San Antonio, TX, the planter is stamped with the studio's blue mark and number 748.

Alamo Pottery is very had to find as it was only made between 1945 & 1951. This is a beautiful example of Alamo's art pottery. Add it to your collection!

Condition: Planter is in very good condition. No chips, no cracks, no crazing. The planter was used as a planter and has a slight soil ring and some spotting on the bottom.

This lovely set of little leather books provide a big impact on a library shelf. Part of the Coleccion Crisol Spanish language editions of beautifully bound leather books, these five volumes can start you on your collecting journey to gather all 400 volumes in the series.

These are vintage books dating from the 1940s and 1950s. Each charming volume has an attached ribbon book mark.

The books show typical wear including rubbing, minor chipping at the base of one spine, soil spots on one cover (see photograph 3). One volume has the previous owner's bookplate in the front and the other 4 books have the previous owner's name written in ink. One volume has a gift inscription.
