Colorful vintage world globe attributed to J. Chein, the tin toy maker, has a full meridian with degree marks, a time dial at the top, and a base indicating the seasons, months, and the zodiac signs. The vintage globe shows the path of the Graf Zeppelin flight of 1929, and has mileage indicators along major trade routes.

This scarce metal globe dates from the early 1930s. The lithograph colors are bright. The globe is in good condition showing age appropriate wear including dings, scratches and some paint loss. There are two dents in the globe, a small one in the Pacific Ocean and a larger one (best seen in photograph five on the right-hand side) below Japan.

The toy globe has a 7 inch diameter, and is 9 inches wide including the meridian. The small globe stands approximately 12 inches tall including the meridian.

Stop staring at me!

This vintage eye model will have everyone staring at it. Made in Germany by Somso, the famous anatomy model maker, the eye is a work of art. Somso models are individually hand assembled, and painted with exacting detail and anatomical accuracy. The science model is sturdy and in great condition. The anatomy model comes apart revealing the inner structure of the eye.

From the estate of an ophthalmologist, the model eyeball dates from the late 1950s, and was designed for use by medical students. The model is clean and shows minimal wear. All six original parts are present. Various points are marked with numerals, but the corresponding guide is lost to time.

The eyeball model would make an interesting prop or decor accent no matter where you choose to display it.

The eye model stands approximately 7 3/4 inches tall fully assembled.

Trio of vintage lab glass bottles will lend a scientific touch to your home decor. Vintage chemistry glass bottles make unique vases. Fill the vintage apothecary bottles with flowers and line them up on your holiday table, or fill them with small colorful buttons or beads.

Made long ago by the T. C. Wheaton Glass Company in Millville, N.J., the old glass bottles show wear but have no chips or cracks. The vintage bottles were once very dirty and were soaked and then cleaned in a delicate dishwasher cycle. Despite these cleaning efforts, some soiling remains in the bottles.

Two bottles are approximately 5 1/2 tall and are marked "T.C.W. Co. U.S.A." on the bottom.
The third bottle is slightly taller and is marked "Vitro U.S.A." on the side and "Wheaton U.S.A." on the bottom. The apothecary bottles have approximately 2 1/2" base diameters.

Bottle hold approximately 250 ml of liquid.

Lovely vintage Hungarian Matyo dolls in traditional regional folk costumes would make an amazing addition to any doll collection. Rare to find in a set, the dolls have plaster faces and fabric bodies.

The detailed costumes include aprons with classic Matyo embroidery designs. The female dolls wears a traditional pompom headdress indicating marriage, as well as a costume with exaggerated puffed sleeves and a peplum adorned with lace.

The dolls are in good condition, but please note that the dolls are vintage and do show age appropriate wear. The man's hat is attached to his head with two pins which are loose. He has some paint loss on the back of his head.

Wonderful vintage children's picture book published in 1942 by Holiday House has an engaging story and vivid color illustrations by Rafaello Busoni. The charming children's book would make a great gift for the budding world traveler or Australia buff. The decorative dust jacket illustration can be displayed as a unique decor element in a travel themed room.

Made by Poole Silver, this beautiful silverplate serving pot can be used for coffee or tea. Silver-plate coffee pots are traditional favorites that are both functional and decorative.

The heavy high-quality coffee pot was finely rendered from copper alloy electroplated with silver. The silver plating, and the coffee pot in general, are in very good condition. I shined it up a bit, but left a bit of the nice patina of age particularly on the feet, handle and spout. Should you choose, this pot should polish up to a high shine.

The coffee pot is marked on the bottom "EPCA Bristol Silverplate by Poole 141."

The European Recovery Program (ERP) or Marshall Plan (1948 - 1951), conceived by George C. Marshall, Army Chief of Staff during WW II & Truman's Secretary of State, sought to politically stabilize & rebuild the economies of war-torn European countries while hindering the spread of Communism.

Held in 1950, the Intra-European Cooperation for a Better Standard of Living poster contest, drew over 10,000 entries. A panel of graphic artists selected 25 winning posters. The posters are graphically stunning pieces of political propaganda and historically interesting bits of ephemera from the early Cold War era.

This poster is an original poster, not a reproduction. The poster is in excellent vintage condition with just some minor wear around the edges. The poster has been stored flat.

This fabulous flamingo pink platonite glass sugar bowl with a gold rim is a bit of a mystery. It's the only Hazel Atlas Ovide piece I've come across in flamingo pink with a gold rim. There are no markings on the piece. This shape sugar bowl was produced by Hazel Atlas from about 1920 to 1950.

Use it for sugar, condiments, flowers. Fits into any decor.

The piece has a few scratches with a little paint loss, but no chips or cracks.

Vintage wooden painters box with dovetail corners comes with a vintage wood palette, a selection of old oil paint tubes, and assorted paint brushes.

The large vintage wooden box has metal hook closures, but the case is missing its carrying handle. The artist's paint box was heavily used in its time and has a considerable patina with staining inside, scuffs, and scratches.

The front of the box hinges open and there are three slotted spaces to store palettes or canvases.

The old wood painters box can be used as a prop, decor accent, or an organizer in an office, studio, or workshop. The sturdy wooden box has five compartments.

Most of the vintage oil paint tubes in the case have labels from the famed Joseph Torch art supply store that was located at 147 W. 14th Street in New York City. The painters case also includes a bottle of Baer's gloria aluminum bronze powder and a plastic tube of Luco Richgold lining bronze.

Beautiful example of California pottery made by Wade of California in the 1960s. The fabulous modern spiral shape is predominantly avocado green with swirls of mint green.

Originally intended as an ashtray, the dish can be used to serve tidbits or candies. Imagine it filled with orange goldfish crackers!

The bowl is in very good vintage condition. No cracks. No chips.

Wade Ceramics produced pottery in North Hollywood between 1965 and 1967. This piece is marked "Wade of Calif. U.S.A." along with the number "700."

This Favor & Ruhl Co gum turpentine bottle has an old paper label from the legendary and long-defunct Joseph Torch artist supply store once located in the Chelsea area of New York City. The vintage gum turpentine bottle is empty, but has lots of character. The vintage glass bottle would make a cool decor accent in an office, artist studio, or craft workshop.

The vintage bottle has a beautiful embossed Favor & Ruhl Co logo on the bottom.

This is a very old vintage glass bottle. It's in good condition having no chips or cracks, but it does have a layer of turpentine residue inside it. The vintage paper label is in good condition with some soiling and a few chips. I was unable to remove the lid from the bottle.

Impressive vintage wooden eagle wall plaques are carved from beautiful old pieces of wood. The wood eagles are finished with a light vanish that lets the beauty of the reclaimed wood shine through. You can clearly see the tree rings which naturally add texture and interest to the eagle carvings.

These are vintage wooden wall plaques from the 1970s. They were hanging on a wall in a living for many years. They are in good condition but do show typical signs of age with a few light scuffs.
