Promotional booklet produced by Litton Industries, this small book is big on math and logic fun. Containing 60 math puzzles with the answers at the back, the booklet also has a statement at back inviting "inquisitive engineers, mathematicians, and scientists...to consider a career with us."

This is a genuine vintage booklet from the 1960s not a recent reprint. The booklet has a very tight spine as if it was never read, but it does show light wear around the cover edges as well as a light scratch on the cover.

If you owned this antique globe pencil sharpener, you could hold the whole world in your hand. Made in Germany circa 1914, the miniature transfer painted steel globe has a simplified version of the World's political boundaries at the start of World War I.

This cool antique globe would make a unique graduation gift or photography prop.

Globe shows Congo State, Turkish Empire, Persia, Russian Empire, Chinese Empire, Pedersburg (St. Petersburg).

The small globe is in good condition for its age showing a scratches, soiling, paint loss, and a small dent in the Hudson Bay. Colors are vibrant. The metal sharpener works well.

The antique pencil sharpener is Marked "Germany" on the bottom metal base and
"Made in Germany" just above the South Pole.

Vintage Valentine Play Book by Fuld & Company has fabulous 1960s punch-out Valentine cards and activities. The cover cards feature a fun space age theme with a little boy and a little girl astronauts, space dog, and rocket ship.

True vintage from the 1960s, the over-size Valentine's Day card booklet shows signs of wear and the passage of time. There are creases on the cover at the bottom spine edge. There is a slight tanning to the backs of some of the cards. The paper dolls and several Valentine's Day cards have been cut from the book as shown in the photographs.

This is a beautiful first edition copy of Stephen Powers's Afoot and Alone; A Walk From Sea to Sea by the Southern Route; Adventures and Observations in Southern California, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Etc. This interesting and important rare book chronicles Powers's 3,556 miles walk from Raleigh, North Carolina to San Francisco, California.

Published in 1872 by the Columbian Book Company, this antique book is a rare find. The volume has 30 wood-cut engravings including several by the artist True W. Williams.

This is a solid book in very good condition for its age. The bottom cover corners are bumped and a bit frayed, but over all the cover is in great shape with just some light soiling. The gold gilt cover illustration of a traveller is in very good condition. There are a few brown spots on the title page's protective tissue overlay, some light foxing on pages 314 & 315, and a few spots here and there throughout the book. Binding is tight. Text block is square.

These vintage sewing needle books have a cool retro lithograph cover and would make a fun decor accent in a sewing or craft room.

Dating from the late 1950s - early 1960s, the sewing needle booklets were given away as advertising perks by the Monarch Fuel Oil Co.

Two booklet have all nine original sewing needles in various sizes plus a metal needle threader. One booklet is missing a needle and the threader. The booklets are in good condition.

Needles were made in West Germany.

The cover lithograph is marked U.S.A.

Volumes I & II in the Pictorial History of the Second World War series covers World War II from 1939 through early September 1943. The books are filled with photo reproductions providing a graphic history of the war's military action and aftermath.

The books were heavily handled in their time and show considerable wear including worn covers with fraying at the corners and edges, soiling, scuffs, rips, and dings. Volume 2's front hinge is beginning to crack. Pages shows tanning typical for the cheap paper used during the war time era.

Filled with beautiful illustrations, this antique copy of Huebner's Bible Narratives From the Old and New Testaments would be a terrific addition to any library or religious book collection. Published in 1837, the vintage Bible story book includes fifty-one woodcut engravings.

This genuine antique book is 180 years old. It is not a recent reprint of this title. The book shows age-appropriate wear with scrapes, dings, and soiling on the cover, worn cover corners, approximately a 2-inch split along the bottom front cover and the spine (the cover is stable), toning to the paper, staining on the page edges, and some light foxing. The illustrations are fabulous and in good condition. Former owner's name in pencil and some notations in pencil on the front and back endpapers.

This small antique leather box from Alex Jones & Co Regent Street, London contains vintage letter sealing wax matches.

An interesting relic from a time when handwritten letters were the principle form of social media, this curious little leather matchbox would make a cool decor accent in a modern office.

"Seve Nouvelle Vie Meilleure" or "New Sap, Better Life" by artist Andre Golven won a fifth place prize in the European Recovery Program (ERP) - Marshall Plan's Intra-European Cooperation for a Better Standard of Living poster contest in 1950. This French poster entry shows a sapling rooted in a unified base of European flags uplifted by a strong hand.

A panel of graphic artists from the countries benefiting from the Marshall Plan selected 25 winning posters from over 10,000 entries. The posters are graphically stunning pieces of political propaganda and historically interesting bits of ephemera from the early Cold War era.

The poster is in very good condition. It has only minor edge wear. The poster will come to you encased in a removable archival sleeve (acid free Krystal Seal). The poster has been stored flat.

Published in 1893, the vintage book's elaborate cover is remarkably well preserved. Pages are mostly clean with some very light tanning and some spotting. The page edges show some dust soiling and spotting from age. Overall, this is a clean book in very good condition.

This first edition copy of Coal Camp Girl is an ex-library book from the Franklin, Ohio Public Library. It has multiple library stamp marks, a "please wash your hands" sticker on the front endpaper, pencil markings, soiling, the remains of a removed library card holder on the inside back cover, and other evidence of a well-loved children's book. The book does not have a dust jacket. The binding is tight.

Lovely antique art nouveau era brass expandable bookends have detailed reliefs of the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates on each end along with his famous quote from the Aphorismi, "Ars Long Vita Brevis," or as we say in English, "Art is Long Life is Short."

Double your creative fun with these vintage dual-sided colored pencils. Marked "Sunset Dual-Kolor by Empire," these vintage pencils date from the 1950s, and were made by the Empire Pen Co, in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

The colorful vintage pencils would make a cool prop or display in a creative office or studio. I suppose you could use them too!

Each pencil has two points and a colorful striped wooden cylindrical casing. There are nine (9) pencils in the set.

The color pencils have been used and vary in lengths. They were sharpened long ago and put away in a drawer. Casings show wear including some paint loss.
