These are genuine vintage lucite, also know as acrylic, plexiglass, transparent themoplastic resin, serving utensils from the 1970s in good condition. They have some light scratches from use.


Caring for Lucite, Acrylic, and other thermoplastics --
Do not put your lucite in the dishwasher. Clean it with hot sudsy water and a soft cloth. Do not use Windex or other cleaners to clean lucite.

Vintage children's spelling textbook circa 1930s, this book instructs and delights with charming illustrations by Mabel Betsy Hill.

Each 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" illustration depicts a childhood scene and bears Hill's signature. I've counted 21 illustrations in the book. Illustrations are colored in shades of orange.

Book also includes a section with "Recommended Poetry for Memorizing," including poems by Robert Louis Stevenson, Christina G. Rossetti, and Alfred Tennyson.

This classic green wool tweed riding jacket is the real deal.

Vintage from the 1950s, this beautiful green tweed riding jacket belonged to an avid equestrian. The wool blazer has classic equestrian styling and is made from a high-quality houndstooth tweed.

This is a genuine vintage wool equestrian blazer that was worn and loved by its previous owner. The jacket is approximately 60-years old. The wool jacket is in good condition, but does show signs of wear particularly on the inner lining. There is some staining at the armhole and the left-hand armhole lining is split at around the seam but can easily be restitched.

Sweet peas, a long-time garden favorite, are the star of this antique gardening book. The slender volume has a decorative cover with a beautiful lithograph print of sweet peas. The cover is so pretty, you'll want to put it on display.

Written by H.H. Thomas (Harry Higgot Thomas), the legendary British gardener, prolific author, and editor of the prestigious publication, The Gardener, The Sweet Pea and How to Grow Them is one of his harder-to-find titles.

The book is in very condition. The cover is bright with some scuffing and evidence of wear around the edges. Pages are clean. The small book is illustrated with line drawings and photographs and has garden-related advertising on the endpapers. Overall, this is a lovely copy of a scarce title.

Vintage 1940s world globe stamp dispenser has a cool two-tone Art Deco style. The vintage desk accessory is designed to hold a roll of postage stamps, and is heavy enough to double as a paperweight. The piece is marked "AS Germany" along one side.

The postage stamp dispenser has a nice patina of age. It was obviously used and enjoyed by a previous owner. The vintage metal globe and base show signs of age and wear including scuffs, marks, worn spots.

Globe has a 2 inch diameter.
Base measures 4 1/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches.

Mid-century vintage Schwartz Liebman Textiles drapery fabric has a beautiful floral print. The flowers are gold and a lovely shade of pinkish orange. The flower clusters have sage green leaves.

The fabric is marked "Copyright Schwartz Liebman Texitles, Inc." along one selvedge edge. The remnant does not have a content label but it feels like a cotton rayon blend.

Fabric is in excellent condition. There is about a 2" long tear/weave separation at about 27" from the bottom and 3" in from the selvedge. Fabric is clean and has no odors.

A stunning red head in a purple turtleneck sweater stares confidently from this cool vintage poster.

Published in Chicago by Hair Style of the Month, this original poster was produced for display in hair and beauty salons across the United States. The poster is printed on sturdy coated paper and has an image on both sides.

This poster was displayed in a Chicago hair salon and shows wear. One side of the double-sided poster is slightly faded from the sun. The poster has some wear on the edges, light soiling, and tape residue where it was affixed to a display. There is a mark on one side of the poster near the model's brow (see photographs 4 & 5). The poster was stored rolled up for many years. A good picture framer could transfer this vintage poster art into an amazing walling hanging for your home or business.


Measurements: 20" x 16".

Vintage Cram's Imperial 12 Inch World Globe is a mid century classic. The colorful reference globe has a full meridian & analemma showing the sun's declination for every day in the year, ocean currents, and trade routes shown in statute miles.

The presence of the short-live United Arab Republic and Tanganyika clearly dates the globe to 1961.

Other interesting political designations include:

This vintage Cram's globe is made of coated paper gores over pressboard. The globe has a full metal meridian, and a night/day dial at the top. The globe spins freely and swivels in an articulated frame for easy viewing.

This globe is in a amazing condition for its age with a just a few very minor dings. The globe is clean. The colors are bright.

Blue turquoise lucite bead necklace in excellent condition, this is a fabulous high-quality Italian 1970s design by Ellelle. This vintage chunky bead necklace has its original metal Ellelle tag and is marked "Made in Italy."

At 32", this is a long necklace, a length that is very fashionable today. The various shapes, textures, and finishes of the lucite beads are offset by lighter colored lucite disks, small turquoise spacer beads and gold tone disks. The piece is finished with a slide-in fish hook clasp.

A stunning necklace, this would piece would make a fabulous gift for the vintage jewelry collector.

Food Surprises -- such an odd name for a collection of traditional recipes adapted for the new Mirro aluminum cookware line produced by the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company.

Launched in 1917, Mirro's aluminum cookware was advertised to insure "Long Wear and Little Care."

The small & slim culinary pamphlet contains 14 recipes with illustrations showing off the food in various Mirro aluminum pots and pans. The booklet gives an interesting glimpse into American food of the early 20th century.

For a circa 1918 pamphlet publication, the booklet is in amazing condition. The cover is bright and the pages are clean.

This beautiful set of six (6) tumblers from Russel Wright's classic Residential line of melamine dinnerware would be an amazing addition to any Mid Century modern design collection. True vintage pieces of Russel Wright melamine and pottery are getting harder to find, and this set is in excellent condition for its age showing minimal wear.

Wright's Residential melmac line won the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) Good Design Award in 1953 & 1954. Made in Boston by Northern Industrial Chemical Company, the tumblers have a sleek modern design and cool orange color, known as Salmon Red.

Tumblers are approximately 3 1/4 inches tall with a 2 inch bottom diameter and an 8 oz ( 1 cup) capacity.

Vintage rubber type kit from the 1970s contains tiny numbers, am & pm stamps and the months of the year in Pica typeface. The small rubber stamps are in their original wood tray and cardboard slipcase. The set comes with small tweezers and heavy weight pin for positioning the rubber stamps.

The vintage type kit has stamps for the years 1974 and 1979.

Vintage Eagle Poise 1256 pen holder counter display from the 1930s has its original calligraphy nib pens intact. The bright array of colorful painted wood penholders makes an amazing display.

The advertising counter display was never used, and is in amazing condition for its age. There are some age spots, soiling, and minor creasing, but the colors are vibrant. The die cut cardboard display has an easel hinge in the back for standing on a counter. The display holds its original dozen (12) Eagle Poise 1256 pens -- four red, four blue, four green, & four yellow. The pens are new old stock. Each pen has prong fitting at the end for the insertion of a nib, and is marked "1256 Eagle Poise U.S.A."

Display measures 12 inches x 8 inches.

Vintage world map cigarette box with a Phinney Walker travel alarm clock would look great on your coffee table, on your office desk, or night stand.

The box and clock are in very good condition. The box has a black plastic base. The world map is embedded in the lucite lid. There is some discoloration on the clock's metal frame (see photograph 4). Tested for a 24-hour period, the clock kept time and the alarm rang as set. Please note that this is a genuine vintage clock that may need cleaning or servicing for it to continue to keep time. The clock face is labeled "Phinney Walker" and marked "Germany." The clock is marked "Semca Clock Co, Inc. Germany" on the back.

Box measures 7 7/8 inches long x 4 5/16 wide x 1 1/2" deep.
