What we have here is a vintage Bates List Finder chrome address book with a lever activated pop-up cover. Very cool, and rather heavy, the metal address organizer has a very art deco design.

This is the Coronet Model. It has unused a through z alphabetical address cards which are yellowed with age and a red lever that slides. Line up the lever on the desired letter, press the front tab, and the cover pops up.

Has its original List Finder card in front with spaces to fill in the telephone numbers for the fire department, police, doctor, hospital, plumber, & electrician. The List Finder also come with a small brochure for other Bates Manufacturing office products.

Condition: The red lever and front tab activator are in working order. The chrome is in good condition with a few spots and a light patina of age.

Vintage coil spring paint brush or dip pen stand made in Germany by Pelican (Pelikan), this is a very cool old-fashion artist's desk accessory.

What makes this spring coil rack so intriguing is the American spelling of "Pelican" instead of the German "Pelikan." The holder is clearly marked "Made in Germany" and has the Pelikan trademark symbol -- mother pelican with 4 babies in a nest.

The stand is old. It comes from the estate of a graphic artist and illustrator. Over all, the metal rack is in good condition. There is some paint loss to the black base and a few rust spots.

In the days before instant computer generated charts, Dalton's Tables of Houses Spherical Basis of Astrology was (and for some serious astrologers, still is) the definitive reference book for charting horoscopes.

Published in 1975 by Macoy Publishing and Masonic Supplies, Co, Inc., Richmond, Virginia. The book is in very good condition with no underlining or highlighting. Former owner's name written in ink on the back endpaper.

But wait, there's more -- the former owner's astrological reading drawn up in 1978 by the legendary (in astrology circles) Neil Michelsen is included with the book. Michelsen, a former IBM employee, founded Astro Computing Service creating the first computer-generated ephemeris in 1976.

Huge, jumbo, colossal, giant-- this is the biggest size vintage Shiny Brite I have ever seen. Measuring in at about 15 5/8" diameter, 5" tall & 4 1/2" wide, this beautiful glass vintage Christmas ornament would look lovely hung by a velvet ribbon or grouped with other glass orbs for a striking display.

Found in a box of correspondence sent to the USA from Japan in the 1950s, this original silk fabric painting shows a lovely winter scene. Mounted between red-trimmed card stock and a delicate sheet of paper, the painting is in excellent condition.

The charming scene shows falling snow, pine tree boughs, snow-covered lanterns, with a view across water to a shrine with snowy hills in the background. The red shine stands in sharp contrast to the gray winter sky.

Matting and backing paper are slightly yellowed. Right hand side of the matting (side without the red trim) appears to have been gently torn or cut out of a book or from a back matting board. The piece is not signed.

A beautiful and delicate work of art, it would be a lovely addition to any decor.

Rare Find! Antique original hand-painted Japanese Union Postale Universelle postcard circa 1910 in very good condition. The card is a painting of Mount Fuji with delicate white sailboats and tree in autumn colors. This is not a reproduction of a painting, but an actual painting. You can see and feel the brush strokes.

Picture this postcard matted and framed and hanging in your living room -- an interesting and beautiful piece of history for your home.

Condition: Some foxing on card back and chipping on edges as shown in photographs, but otherwise, clean.

High-quality vintage lucite & silver bead necklace circa 1970s makes a lovely statement in turquoise. The round beads are graduated, and there are four large lucite beads with an interesting twisted shape. The lucite beads have a slight marbling and are separated by small round silver beads and large silver rondelles.

The necklace has the look and feel of an Ellelle piece as well as a slide-in fish hook clasp that is identical in design to those used by the Italian costume jewelry company. It is not signed.

Vintage 1940s Alamo Pottery planter, this robin egg blue ceramic bowl has wonderful art deco styling. Made by the Alamo Pottery company in San Antonio, TX, the planter is stamped with the studio's blue mark and number 748.

Alamo Pottery is very had to find as it was only made between 1945 & 1951. This is a beautiful example of Alamo's art pottery. Add it to your collection!

Condition: Planter is in very good condition. No chips, no cracks, no crazing. The planter was used as a planter and has a slight soil ring and some spotting on the bottom.

A Watertown Lifetime Ware pitcher, circa 1950s, complete with lid would be the crowning piece to any melamine melmac collection. This fabulous example of Jon Hedu's award-winning mid-century design is in the company's original "Bermuda Coral" color with a dark brown lid--a great retro color combination.

In very good shape, the piece has no cracks or chips, and only very minor signs of use. Bottom is hallmarked "Watertown Lifetime Ware Made in U.S.A." Watertown Lifetime Ware can be found in museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
