An incredible example of crewel embroidery, this vintage textile needlework piece can be transformed into a wall hanging or pillow cover.

Worked on a white linen background with wool thread in a vibrant 1970s flower design, the crewel embroidery is complete and in very good condition. The linen fabric, measuring 35 inches x 17 inches, has been folded in half and has a crease line. There are a few spots that should come out with washing. Note the word "top" below the crease line above the crewel work. Black basting stitches outline the pillow cover back dimension. There is a dry cleaners tag pinned to one corner.

Ready for finishing, you can make a pillow cover, frame it for a wall hanging, or use it in another craft project.

This Christian cross and holy spirit dove necklace is the perfect gift for a Sunday school teacher. Designed and made by the Terra Sancta Guild, the beautiful enamel religious pendant has the dove of the holy spirit within a cross on the front, and "Educator in Christ" (represented by the Chi Rho symbol) on the back.

Although vintage from the early 1970s, the cross necklace was never worn and comes in its original presentation box. The pendant necklace is on a silky navy blue cord that ties around the neck.

Pendant measure approximately 2 3/4" x 2 3/8". The cord is approximately 19" long.

Vintage custom-made little black dress is big on style. This striking cocktail dress has a beaded and sequined bodice, peplum skirt and back zipper.

The dress was tailor-made for its previous owner and does not have maker's, sizing, and fiber content labels. The fabric feels like wool crepe. The dress fits like a small. Zipper begins at the middle of the back not at the neckline. This is a beautifully made dress!

The dress is in very good vintage condition. It has a few missing beads & sequins in a small spot near the underarm on the left-hand side. Dress was attic stored & would benefit from a professional dry cleaning. Garment is priced accordingly.

Dress is shown on a 36 1/2" bust, 25" waist, 35" hip dress model.

"Seve Nouvelle Vie Meilleure" or "New Sap, Better Life" by artist Andre Golven won a fifth place prize in the European Recovery Program (ERP) - Marshall Plan's Intra-European Cooperation for a Better Standard of Living poster contest in 1950. This French poster entry shows a sapling rooted in a unified base of European flags uplifted by a strong hand.

A panel of graphic artists from the countries benefiting from the Marshall Plan selected 25 winning posters from over 10,000 entries. The posters are graphically stunning pieces of political propaganda and historically interesting bits of ephemera from the early Cold War era.

The poster is in very good condition. It has only minor edge wear. The poster will come to you encased in a removable archival sleeve (acid free Krystal Seal). The poster has been stored flat.

A copy of Book of Tricks and Magic edited by Prof. Svengarro is a must-have title for the serious magician or magic enthusiast.

Published in 1913 by I & M Ottenheimer, this scarce magic book contains instructions for many classic magic tricks and as well as many lesser known illusions.

This is a genuine antique copy of Book of Tricks and Magic. Printed on inexpensive pulp paper, the pages are deeply tanned with age yet not brittle. The cover shows wear particularly around the edges and at the top of the spine with some minor chipping and paper loss and spotting. Original price on the book's cover has been "x" out in ink. The book has a stapled binding.

Vintage Ballantine Beer tray can be used as bar decor, man cave decor, or as intended as a serving tray.

Dating from the 1960s, the tray was used in its time and shows typical wear including dings, chipped and worn paint and scratches. The front of the tray is in much better condition than the back of the tray. There are several dents along the outer rim.

Vintage Cambridge Teachers' Bible in its original presentation box would make a special gift for first communion, confirmation, or other religious occasion.

The bible is bound in black Morocco leather and has gold-gilt edging, an attached ribbon bookmark, and indexed edge. The bible includes the Cambridge Bible Atlas with maps produced by George Philip & Son for The London Geographical Institute and an index at the back. The bible comes along with a small pamphlet, "How to Read the Bible," and a leaflet "Men and Women of the Bible" by the American Bible Society.

The bible comes in its original box and does not look as through it was ever read. The cardboard box shows shelf wear particularly around the edges.

Gustavsberg Argenta art pottery made in Sweden has a pleasing form and a lovely turquoise color with silver overlay details. This small dish from the famous Swedish pottery house would make a nice addition to any decorative pottery collection.

The small pottery dish has a 4 1/8 inch diameter and is in good condition having no chips and no cracks. There is noticeable wear to the silver overlay around the rim. The dish has the Gustavsberg hallmark on the bottom along with the number 939, "Made in Sweden," and a partial paper label.

Charming antique floral & gold embossed leather notebook set comes with its original bone clutch lead pencil. The small journal has notations for European hotels, and the names and addresses of people in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, St. Petersburg, & London. The set appears to have been a gift from mother to daughter given back in 1897.

The small notebook has two sets of notations. The first set of notations (5 pages) is dated May 1897. The second set (2 pages) is dated 1900. Most of the journal's gold-edged pages are blank. The autograph book is inscribed "For Edith with my dearest love April 2nd 1897 Mother."

This beautiful purse-size leather journal is in amazing condition for its age, but does has some issues. The purple front & back silk endpaper linings are split. The leather is supple but does have some soiling most notably on the spine. The bone-handled clutch lead pencil has a small chip near the clutch barrel and some pitting. It does not contain any graphite. The metal clasp is in working order and looks as if it might at one time had a key.

This is a small notebook measuring approximately 4 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches x 1/2 inch. The pencil is approximately 4 1/2 inches long.

The autograph book is in good condition and has beautiful gold & black endpapers. Some pages have been torn out of the front of the notebook which has weakened the spine. In addition to the inscription mentioned above, the book contains the remnants of dried flowers between two pages near the back of the volume along with the notation "Flowers from the Wartburg. June 4th 1897."

The autograph book measures 7 inches x 4 3/8 inches x 1/2 inch.

The notebooks are hallmarked "Brüder Leichtman Aus. Wein -- Karlsbad, Budapest."

Known as a whist marker, bridge marker, and a trump indicator, this early 20th-century game ship's wheel suit marker is made out of copper and brass. The central globe has an inlay of what appears to be stone into which are carved a red heart, red diamond, black club, and black spade. The center brass globe spins allowing players to indicate the current trump suit.

Antique books from the late 1800s, these beautifully bound bird guides are fully illustrated and informative reference books.

Both books have their original brown paper wrapping dust jackets which show wear including chipping, tears, and paper loss. The jacket on the The Game Birds of North America has split on the front binding edge. The books are in good condition. There is ghosting on the endpapers of Field Key to the Land Birds from the dust jacket, foxing at the fore edges, and some soiling and rubbing. The presence of the dust jackets have keep the beautiful green bindings well preserved.

Vintage Hair Style of the Month poster captures the essence of 1960s chic in this gorgeous portrait of a stylish woman. The interesting vintage poster would make an amazing wall decoration in a modern beauty salon.

Published in Chicago by Hair Style of the Month, this original poster was produced for display in hair and beauty salons across the United States. The poster is printed on sturdy coated paper and has an image on both sides.

This poster was displayed in a Chicago salon and remarkably shows very little wear. One side of the double-sided poster is slightly faded from the sun (see photographs 2 & 4). The edges are in good condition showing minor wear. There is type residue on the each side of the poster near the top. The poster was stored rolled up for many years. A professional picture framer should be able to transform this poster into a beautiful wall hanging.

Poster is marked "Hair Style of the Month, Chicago, Illinois."

Measurements: 20" x 16".

This pair of beautiful antique gesso picture frames are the perfect accessories for shabby chic decor style.

These are genuine antique frames circa 1910. Each wooden oval frame looks to have been carved out of a single piece of wood.

The frames are in very good condition. The painted gesso finished has a few small chips, most notably on the wider frame. There is an old wire hanger attached to the wider frame. Neither frame includes glass.
