He's big. He's musical! He's just fabulous!

Rare vintage musical wind up Santa Claus, this dashing Santa figure plays Jingle Bells. He'll be the hit of your Christmas party. He's sure to become a favorite family holiday decoration.

Marked Atlantic Mold on the bottom, this hand-painted ceramic Santa Claus figure has a wind up key on his back and a music box mounted inside of him.

Dimensions: Approximately 11" tall x 10" wide x 6 1/2" deep

Condition: Overall, the figure is in very good vintage condition. The music box plays. The piece has minimal paint loss, but he does have a small chip on the edge of his bell. The chip is not very noticeable (see photograph 2), and could easily be masked almost completely with a little gold paint.

These circa 1960s mini Santa mugs are in good condition having no chips, no cracks. There is some loss particularly on the handles. Mugs are marked "Japan" on the bottom.

Light as meringue, this circa 1960s sheer chiffon vintage scarf has amazing pleating across the entire fabric. The color changes from white in the center to a mere hint of yellow to a deeper yellow at the edges. The combination of color graduation, sheerness, and pleating blend into a very textural and unusual scarf.

In good vintage condition, the flaws do not detract from the grace and glamor of this scarf. The fragile fabric does show wear, there is a small section where the pleating has relaxed, there is some thread separation, but no tears, and two small barely noticeable spots.

There is no tag on the scarf. By the feel of it, it'd say it's nylon.

Bright and cheery in shades of yellow & green, with a dash of dark blue, this vintage crochet afghan is a stunner. Handmade back in the 1970s, the blanket was crocheted with acrylic yarn in a variety of stitch patterns.

Handmade vintage textiles remind me of the continuity between generations. Forty years or so ago, someone took the time to make a blanket for her family. She most likely learned the stitches she used to make the afghan from her mother or grandmother, who learned the stitches from her mother, and on it goes back into history. Crochet is an ancient art and this afghan is a fine 1970s example of that art.

Made from sturdy and warm yarn, this blanket is in excellent vintage condition. No holes, tears or fading.

Measurements: 67" x 44"

From a carrettino Siciliano, to vistas of Mt. Etna, to sweeping views of the Sicilian coastline, to elaborate palazzo, to the ruins of a Greek theatre, this amazing accordion-folding booklet shows the town and environs of Taormina in beautiful black and white photographs by F. Galifi Crupo.

The booklet measures 4 3/8" x 3 1/4" closed. Dating from the 1930s, the photograph booklet is in very good vintage condition. There are two small tears on the red card stock tab closure. Photographs are in excellent condition.

Each photograph measures approximately 4 1/8" x 3".

Intended to be sent as a pack, the back of the package is printed with "From" with space to write your name, three guidelines for an address and "Postage 1 1/2 cents without message" printed in the upper right-hand corner.

Published by Western Publishing & Novelty Co, Los Angeles, California, the 20 souvenir views are copyright of Curt Teich & Co., the creator of the "Greetings From" postcard concept.

The cards are in excellent condition. Each card measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/2". Packaging shows typical shelf wear.

An incredible example of crewel embroidery, this vintage needlework piece can be transformed into a wall hanging or pillow.

Worked on a blue linen background with wool thread in a vibrant 1970s flower design, the crewel embroidery is complete and in excellent condition. The linen fabric measuring 28 inches x 13 3/4 inches has a crease line where it had been folded in half and basted with red thread. There is a dry cleaners tag pinned to one corner. Ready for finishing, you can make a pillow cover, frame it for a wall hanging, or use it in another craft project.

The Model Speller, a vintage children's school book, has an amazing decorative cover. The wonderful scenes of children playing at the beach, building a snowman, and fishing, stand out in red against the blue cloth binding.

This 1930s spelling textbook is in good condition for a used schoolbook. The pages are yellowed, and some have rips and tears. There is some soiling. The book is marked "Property of St. Mary's Grammar School, Rutherford, N.J.," and has several students's names written on the front end paper.

This vintage Driver's Manual Compendium of The New Jersey Motor Vehicle and Traffic Laws driving test instruction book is packed with charming cartoon illustrations by Harry Goff.

This 1957 edition of New Jersey's rules of the road is in good condition. The cover has some soiling, a bent corner and a few nicks. The pages show yellowing typical of paperbacks of the era. Includes a self-scoring test and index.

Great for scrapbooking!

Published in 1963 by G. Schirmer, Inc. and Chappell & Co, New York, the song booklet includes:

The booklet shows wear. The cover is ripped at the base and top of the stapled binding. There is one small tear on the outer edge of the front cover and a hole on the back cover, as well as what I think is the previous owner's name in small faint letters on the cover. There are notations in pencil and pen.

Gorgeous glass vintage Christmas ornaments made in West Germany, these shimmering red pinecones have a dusting of gold mica sparkles and ornate gold-tone metal caps. The curious thing about this collection, is that their original box is marked "Made in Austria," yet each ornament is marked "West Germany."

In their original box, the ornaments are in new, unused condition. The box is in very good condition.

Box includes six (6) ornaments.

These beautiful holiday decorations are destined to become family heirlooms.

Each red glass pinecone measures approximately 3" long.

Improve your handwriting with this vintage Ozment's System Perfect Penmanship kit. The set contains its original nine (9) grooved plates with letters (complete upper & lower case alphabet) and numbers (0 through 9), a pen stylus and general instruction sheet, as well as six (6) additional plates with letters that are not original to the kit.


Created by C. J. Ozment, the "gruved system" instructs the calligraphy student to "follow the grooves to perfect penmanship." The enclosed instruction sheet has 1939 & 1944 copyrights. The box has a 1942 copyright.

The set is used and shows some wear. The grooved plates are in very good condition. The painted red stylus has a worn paint spot.

Box measures 10 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 3/4".

Vintage Japan ceramic figurine, this small (2 1/4" tall) gray elephant has pink ears with gold highlights. Marked made in Japan with a gold foil label, this circa 1960s collectible is in very good vintage condition, no cracks, chips or crazing.

At one time, he may have been part of an elephant grouping. He has a small loop under his chin which could have been for a connecting chain.


A symbol of wisdom, elephants, the largest land mammal, are also thought to insure protection and stability. According to Feng Shui, elephants with their trunks up will bring good luck to your home.

The Chain of Command is a humorous satire on the inner workings of army procedure. Told in a light manner and illustrated with cartoons, the story exposes the hilarious and unexpected consequences associated with the attempt to ration toilet paper.

This is a vintage, first edition copy of the book published in 1945. The dustcover shows wear with chipping and tearing along the edges. Hardcover boards have some spotting and the edges and spine are worn. There is a gift inscription written in ink on the inside from end paper.

Five (5) vintage photography memory booklets are a nifty way to capture your school days. These keepsake memento photo albums are a simple folded card with cartoon figures depicting the classic school personalties such as "My Favorite Teacher," "The Class Queen," "Big Shot," among others.

The cartoons are so sweet and very retro. Manufactured by National School Studios, Inc, circa1950s, these charming booklets are in great condition for their age. Three of them are smooth card stock and are slightly yellowed. Two of them are textured card stock, are slightly narrower, and have yellowed a bit more.

Great for reunions! Fill them with old graduating portraits and give them as door prizes.

This simple vintage Thanksgiving Day pop-up greeting card has a hunting pilgrim peering around a tree at a turkey, and opens to the pilgrim seating at a table ready to carve the bird.

With classic imagery beautiful drawn, this delightful card is sure to please the ephemera collector.

Card measures 6" x 5"

Card is in good condition. The left-hand corners are a bit bumped and the back right-hand side corner is creased. There is a glue spot on back of the card where it was once glued to a scrap book. There is no writing in the card. There is script handwriting on the back. Card is marked "GB" in a bell and "Made in U.S.A." Please see photographs for more information about condition.

When I found these charming unused circa 1900s vintage Christmas postcards in a bin of miscellaneous correspondence at a book sale, it was like finding a buried treasure.

In exceptional vintage condition for their age, the cards have a poinsettia motif, gold foil background and an inspirational quote, "A love large as life, deep and changeless as death," by Owen Meredith, aka Edward Robert Lytton Bulwer-Lytton, 1st Earl of Lytton, an English poet and statesman.

What an amazing gift for someone you love!
