During the 1950s & 1960s, the space race captivated our imaginations, and outer space imagery became a ubiquitous motif on toys, housewares, fabrics, and a myriad number of decorative items.
Sealed in its original packaging, this vintage educational card game is a rare find from the space age era. The box lid has an amazing outer space graphic with two rocket ships orbiting around the earth. The space age graphic is repeated on the back of each game card.
It's the perfect gift for the collector of outer space toys and games!
The box shows shelf wear with some rubbing and scratches to the cover graphic. Three of the corners are split, but the heavy cardboard box holds together well. The original cellophane wrap is beginning to tear at the bottom right hand-side corner.

Keith Johnston's Historical Atlas, also known as The Half-Crown Atlas of British History is a small atlas containing 31 beautiful colored maps.
The antique maps begin with England (Britannia Under the Romans) and continue through history up to Europe during the late Continental Wars (1848-1870). The slim map collection concludes with an overview of the world showing British possessions and dependencies. The atlas includes an index of all place names shown on the maps.
The antique book has a beautiful cover with tooling and gold gilt lettering and decoration. All maps are present but the sewn binding is weak. The front right hand-side endpaper has come loose and has the name of the previous owner in ink along with the date and other notations. The antique maps could easily be separated and framed individually for home decor.
The book measures 7 1/2" by 5 1/4".

Rare Bird!
This vintage Lenci duck figurine would make a sweet home decor accent.
Lenci, founded in 1919 by Elena (Helen) Konig and Enrico Scavini, and centered in Torino, Italy, began as a manufacturer of fanciful felt dolls. In 1928, the factory began producing high-quality porcelain ceramic figurines. After surviving through WW II (and a direct bomb hit on the factory!), Lenci closed its doors in 1964.
This small yellow duckling figurine is in very good vintage condition. The bottom of the piece has some rough spots and a flea bite around the firing hole. The piece is hand-signed "Lenci Italy" along with a circular symbol on the bottom. The bird also has a round paper Lenci seal.

This metal Mars Staedtler pencil box was modified long ago by its owner who carefully pasted a Speedball Triple Reservoir Pen label on the lid as well as Speedball nib charts on the inside.
The vintage pencil box contains three vintage calligraphy dip pens along with a selection of pen nibs including Speedballs, Hunt, & Spencerian Gilt-Points made in England. There is also a Clix razor blade, a small plastic novelty trinket in the form of half a cup marked "For My 'Half-Ass' Friend," and an "Out to Lunch" sign.

Cool red & blue vintage Evergreen copying pencils made in Czechoslovakia by the U.S. Pencil Company make a colorful display.
There are seven (7) colored pencils in the lot, four (4) blue & three (3) red along with the red pencils's original U.S. Pencil Co, New York, U.S.A. box. The pencils are not used and are not sharpened. The box shows obvious signs of wear. The lid is split at two corners as well as on one of the bottom corners. There is also some paper loss.

Vintage deck of playing cards picked up long ago as a souvenir of Luray Caverns in Virginia has a cool cave graphic on the box and on the back of each card.
Made in the U.S.A. by Arrco Playing Card Co, the cards are in good vintage condition. One joker has a small crease on a bottom corner. Deck is complete with 52 playing cards plus two jokers. The original card board box is in good condition showing some shelf wear.

Long ago, this antique chromolithograph Hood's Sarsaparilla Rainy Day Puzzle was carefully mounted on wooden jigsaw pieces. The craftsman also made a custom wooden puzzle tray to hold the vintage puzzle.
