New old stock Bridge for One pop-up playing card games by Milton C. Work, The International Authority, are a rare find. Each set of four (4) folded paper game sheets gives instructions on how to play bridge in three ways -- quoting from the back the game's description:

(a) As a contest with any number participating
(b) As a solitaire to test your own ability
(c) As a solitaire for educational purposes

Dating from the early 1930s, these games sheets were stashed away for many years and are in unused condition. Some of them showing soiling and creasing from storage, the paper is tanning from age, but they are so cool, and useable. Give them away as party favors at your next bridge game.

Cool collection of vintage Replogle globes in their original box, this retro globe set includes three 6-inch metal orbs representing the earth, moon, and the heavens.

Made as an educational toy, these highly detailed globes come along with their original information booklets, Story of the Globe, Story of the Moon, and Story of the Celestial Sphere. Each globe has a gray plastic stand.

The globes are in overall good condition. They are clean with little evidence of wear with the exception of a the earth globe which has two dents, one in the South Pacific Ocean just below the Tropic of Cancer and a one near New Zealand.

The Globe set was produced by Replogle, a division of the Meredith Corporation, and was made in the U.S.A. The set includes:

This is a genuine antique book not a reproduction. Expect wear. Overall the small pocket-size book is in good condition. There is wear on the cover and a bit of fraying around the edges. The paper is very lightly tanned with age. The back hinge is broken and there is some separation at the front but the binding is tight. Note that the page prior to the title page sticks slightly (see photograph three) near the top of the page. There is a bookseller's star-shaped embossed stamp and a red price mark.

Antique A.S. Hinds Portland ME glass bottle has embossed lettering and its original glass stopper. The decorative vintage glass apothecary bottle can be grouped with other pharmacy items for an interesting display or filled with colorful odds and ends for an eclectic decor accent.

This is a genuine antique bottle from the late 1800s. It shows considerable wear and has a small chip in the glass on the back which is hard to capture in photographs, as well as another small chip on the inside rim. The vintage glass bottle was given a rinse but not a deep cleaning and there is soiling residue from the passage of time inside the bottle. Despite these flaws, the bottle is rare and displays well.

Aurelius Stone Hinds began his career in 1862 as a drug clerk in an apothecary store in Portland, Maine. Before long, he purchased his own drug store and created line of apothecary products, most notably Hinds Honey and Almond Cream. Moving his operation to a new and larger laboratory in 1889, he continued to grow his business until he sold it to Lehn & Fink in 1907.

This old vintage railroad blueprint shows the technical schematic for the Pennsylvania Railroad's A & S (Atglen & Susquehanna) York Haven Line , a 20-mile railway segment running from West Fairview to Lenoyer. The over 6-feet-long vintage blueprint is actually a series of three blueprint sections taped together.

The blueprint it not dated. It shows signs of wear from handling and the passage of time. There are several handwritten pencil notations along the tracks.

The blueprint is approximately 75 inches long and 3 inches tall.

Genuine vintage, this tin storage container has an attached hinged lid that is in good working order. The vintage tin biscuit box has scratches, dings, soiling, and paint loss.

The vintage magazines is filled with ads and articles from the late Victorian era including a piece on beekeeping, women photographers, plans for a $5,000 Dutch Colonial home, articles on flowers and gardening, a centerfold of "Picturesque Canada," summer salads, summer fashion, and so much more.

This is a genuine vintage magazine published in 1901 not a recent reprint. The antique periodical shows typical and age-appropriate wear from use and the passage of time. The paper is lightly toned and there is some spotting here and there, moisture staining on the lower front cover, spine, and back cover, along with some red staining on the back cover. There is approximately a two-inch tear on the bottom of page 17 - 18.
