Vintage lot of Vis Ed flash cards in cool colorful boxes cover an essential range of high school level academic subjects including physics, algebra, American history, english, and spelling.

The cards could certainly be used as intended, and they would also make a wonderful vintage-inspired school decor accent. The smaller Compact Facts cards have a wonderful graphic image of Rodin's Le Penseur (The Thinker).

Lot includes six (6) boxes of vintage Vis Ed cards from the 1960s. The cards look as if they have never been used. The American history set is in its original factory-sealed box.

Steel cut metal beads of this quality are no longer made today. This vintage metal bead lot includes three unused hanks with their original L. Bamberger store tags, one small glass vial filled with the metallic beads, and an unfinished knitting project finely knit with Belding Heminway silk thread incrusted with beads.

The vintage silver metal micro beads can be used for jewelry making, dress embellishment, or in mixed media art work.

Each hank has 12 strands of beads with approximately 18 beads per inch. Each strand is approximately 5 inches long.
The unfinished knitting project measuring approximate 7 inches by 3 inches and has 24 ribs of beading.
The glass vial is filled with beads.

The bead lot comes along with a vintage wood spool of Belding Heminway silk thread.

If you owned this antique globe pencil sharpener, you could hold the whole world in your hand. Made in Germany circa 1914, the miniature transfer painted steel globe has a simplified version of the World's political boundaries at the start of World War I.

This cool antique globe would make a unique graduation gift or photography prop.

Globe shows Congo State, Turkish Empire, Persia, Russian Empire, Chinese Empire, Pedersburg (St. Petersburg).

The small globe is in good condition for its age showing a scratches, soiling, paint loss, and a small dent in the Hudson Bay. Colors are vibrant. The metal sharpener works well.

The antique pencil sharpener is Marked "Germany" on the bottom metal base and
"Made in Germany" just above the South Pole.

Approximately 1 3/4" diameter.

Vintage Valentine Play Book by Fuld & Company has fabulous 1960s punch-out Valentine cards and activities. The cover cards feature a fun space age theme with a little boy and a little girl astronauts, space dog, and rocket ship.

True vintage from the 1960s, the over-size Valentine's Day card booklet shows signs of wear and the passage of time. There are creases on the cover at the bottom spine edge. There is a slight tanning to the backs of some of the cards. The paper dolls and several Valentine's Day cards have been cut from the book as shown in the photographs.

This vintage sterling silver pin is a classic modernist jewelry design from the famed Frank & Regine Juhls Jautokeino, Norway studio.

Dating from the 1970s, the sterling silver brooch has a modern circle design and is back stamped "Juhls" and "925S."

This is a genuine vintage sterling silver pin dating from the 1970s. It shows wear consistent with age and has a lovely patina. I have not polished the sterling, but you could do so with a gentle silver jewelry cleaner for a brighter shine.

Approximately 1 1/4" diameter.

Brooch will be sent to you in a gift box.

This fabulous flamingo pink platonite glass sugar bowl with a gold rim is a bit of a mystery. It's the only Hazel Atlas Ovide piece I've come across in flamingo pink with a gold rim. There are no markings on the piece. This shape sugar bowl was produced by Hazel Atlas from about 1920 to 1950.

Use it for sugar, condiments, flowers. Fits into any decor.

The piece has a few scratches with a little paint loss, but no chips or cracks.

This Edwardian fleur de lis watch fob pin has great antique charm. The gold metal is not marked, but it has rich gold look. Also referred to as a watch chatelaine, this piece of antique jewelry was used in its day to decoratively hang a small pocket watch on a jacket.

A true antique, this watch fob shows its age. The gold metal has an aged patina. The antique watch pin has an old-fashion C clasp closure as well as a double loop for hanging a chain.

This vintage set of the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer and Hymnal are separate volumes cleverly joined by a mutual sleeve.

The pocket-size small prayer books have black textured faux-leather covers with gold gilt lettering and page edges. The antique prayer books are in good condition showing typical age-appropriate wear. There is slight separation at the front hinges but the sewn bindings are tight. There is a small tear and piece missing from the black endpaper of The Book of Common Prayer. The title page of The Hymnal is a bit crumbled and is beginning to separate, and the attached purple ribbon bookmarks in each volume are frayed. Each prayer book has a gift inscription at the front written in cursive script.

This vintage pin cushion heart comes with a selection of vintage sewing needles and straight pins stuck into it. Found in an old sewing box just as you see it pictured here, the vintage pincushion could be mistaken for a piece of intentional mixed media art representing a broken heart, and is reminiscent of a voodoo heart.

This is an old pin cushion that was used in its time. It shows considerable wear with some tears and repair stitches. The vintage pin cushion has the remains of some embroidery details, cording around its girth, and a loop at the point.

Vintage children's spelling textbook circa 1930s, this book instructs and delights with charming illustrations by Mabel Betsy Hill.

Each 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" illustration depicts a childhood scene and bears Hill's signature. I've counted 21 illustrations in the book. Illustrations are colored in shades of orange.

Book also includes a section with "Recommended Poetry for Memorizing," including poems by Robert Louis Stevenson, Christina G. Rossetti, and Alfred Tennyson.

Beautiful plaid taffeta ribbon with picot trim in lovely colors, each one of these ribbon spools is unopened with its original cellophane wrapper intact. Spools have the Hyman Hendler label as well as a label identifying the ribbon as pattern Versailles, made in France of 100% Rayon.

Amazing antique ribbon trim lot from New Jersey textile mills are beautiful and historically interesting artifacts of the United States industrial past.

On their original spools with paper backing, the vintage ribbon trim can be used in sewing projects, as millenary ribbons for hats, or displayed as textile decor.

The lot includes five spools of ribbon, some of which have obviously been used and are not a complete, and others which look as if they are full. The solid blue ribbon shows the most use and is in several sections. The antique ribbon trim is in good condition. The paper spools show typical and appropriate sign of age with toning, tears, and some paper loss.

The antique ribbon lot is being sold strictly "as is"

Two spools are marked W.B. Ribbon Mills. Two spools are marked Zega Brand Ribbons. One spool is not branded.

The ribbons are narrow ranging from an 1/8" of an inch to 3/4" of an inch.

Filled with beautiful illustrations, this antique copy of Huebner's Bible Narratives From the Old and New Testaments would be a terrific addition to any library or religious book collection. Published in 1837, the vintage Bible story book includes fifty-one woodcut engravings.

This genuine antique book is 180 years old. It is not a recent reprint of this title. The book shows age-appropriate wear with scrapes, dings, and soiling on the cover, worn cover corners, approximately a 2-inch split along the bottom front cover and the spine (the cover is stable), toning to the paper, staining on the page edges, and some light foxing. The illustrations are fabulous and in good condition. Former owner's name in pencil and some notations in pencil on the front and back endpapers.

This small antique leather box from Alex Jones & Co Regent Street, London contains vintage letter sealing wax matches.

An interesting relic from a time when handwritten letters were the principle form of social media, this curious little leather matchbox would make a cool decor accent in a modern office.

Box measures approximately 3 1/4" x1 3/4" x 3/4" and contains seven wax matches. Two of the matches are missing their match heads. The leather box shows signs of wear including black ink stains on the back.
