Vintage 1950s Playskool puzzles in their original packaging are a rare fine, and this set is just darling with images of Golden Book illustrations of children playing dress-up wedding and a little girl sitting on a big rocking chair knitting. Although not signed, the children are very likely the work of Eloise Wilkin who illustrated many little Golden Books.
No. 90-12 in Playskool's Golden Book puzzle series, these vintage jigsaw puzzles are in very good condition showing very light wear. The original box is a bit flattened and has creases, small tears, and some paper loss.

Classic circa 1950s box camera made in Birmingham, England by Standard Cameras Ltd, the Conway Camera Synchronised model can be found in The Kodak Collection of the National Media Museum, Bradford Science Museum.
The vintage camera has an iconic design and would look fabulous on display on a shelf in your home or office.

The camera is in good cosmetic condition, but it is doubtful that it is in working order. I was not able to open the camera, and I can hear something rattling inside it. The shutter clicks.

Oh dear, this moose is so cute. I couldn't resist picking him up at an estate sale despite his flaws. Made by Copr Ornamental Arts & Crafts, this chalkware moose statue is amazingly detailed, and would be the perfect accent for your rustic home decor, lake cabin, or man cave retreat.
I couldn't find much information on Copr Ornamental. They were known for making chalkware TV lamps in the 1950s.
The moose is in fair vintage condition. It looks as if his head has been repaired. He is missing a portion of his surrounding forest vignette (please see photograph three). There is some paint loss and nicks. The back of the piece is flat and could easily be incorporated into a new work of moose art.
Piece measures approximately 9" long x 6 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" deep. It is impressed along the upper back edge "Copr Ornamental Arts & Crafts."

Vibrant vintage fabric in a bold red and gold damask pattern will lend a dramatic effect to any craft project or home decor project. The vintage fabric remnants are finished with hems at each end making them ideal for use as tablecloths or decorative furniture covers.
The fabric print appears to have been hand blocked and shows several inconsistencies. There is a small, unblocked white area (see photograph four) and a black dot on one fabric panel (shown in the first photography). The red is a bit pinkish and very vibrant against the mustard gold background.
The fabric is clean.

This vintage deck of playing cards has beautiful bullfight art featuring bulls, matadors, a green-eyed queen of spades, a black mantilla wearing queen of clubs, and a red-shawled queen of hearts. The jokers feature Pepe Hillo, the famous 18th century bullfighter. The vintage playing cards also feature various other famous matadors as well as bullfighting terms and iconography.
The vintage card deck is in very good condition. The cards are crisp. The box shows wear with soiling and tearing around the lid.

Brush up on your ancient Greek literature with this vintage copy of Aeschylus's Prometheus Bound and Seven Against Thebes. Part of Hinds & Nobles Handy Literal Translations series, this small volume holds two mighty works of ancient Greek tragedy.
The volume is not dated. Hinds & Noble ran a bookstore in the Cooper Union building in New York City beginning in 1886. They published their Handy Literal Translations late in the 19th century through the very early 20th century. Hinds & Noble became Barnes and Noble in 1917.
This little gem of a book was translated by Theodore Alois Buckley and includes "critical and illustrative notes" as well as a list of Hinds & Nobles publications at the back of the volume.
The book is in very good vintage condition showing typical wear. The brown cloth binding shows wear mostly around the corners and edges. Pages are clean.

Vintage set of glass coffee mugs made by Schott in Germany have a classic Bauhaus design and white detailing around the rims.
Founded 130-years ago by the chemist Otto Schott, Schott produced a durable glass made with silica and boride acid ideal for manufacturing scientific equipment. Working with prominent Bauhaus designers, Schott expanded into making glass household items that were modern, beautiful, and practical.
The modern glass mugs are in very good vintage condition with no cracks or chips.

These small silver plate individual serving vessels were once used in Italian hotels. Dating from the 1930s, I'm not sure of their original purpose, but you could use them for as teabag holder, for lemon slices, as individual creamers or salad dressing servers, etc.
Two of the vessels are bottom marked "Hôtels Giacomelli." The other vessel is bottom marked "Albergo Tettuccio" and is also marked "Broggi." Fratelli Broggi Milano made silver plate serving wear for the hotel and steamship trade.
The vessels will come to you with a beautiful patina of age acquired over the years. If you prefer your silver plate polished, please use a gentle cleaning method as these are vintage plated pieces.
Look closely at the photographs and you will see that the vessels vary ever so slightly in size, averaging approximately 4 inches across including the handle by 2 inches across by 1 1/2 inches tall.

Designed for traveling, this antique inkwell has a clever barrel shape with a push button activated lid. The inkwell has a great patina of age and comes with its original glass ink pot insert. The non-magnetic metal inkwell has a worn brass finish on the outside and a silver tone metal inside.
The inkwell dates from the 19th century and is well over 100-years old. It shows considerable signs of use and age. The interior has ink residue and some corrosion. The glass ink pot insert has a few flea bits around the rim and blue ink residue inside. There is a small dent on the front of the barrel near the push button. The push button is in good working order. A previous owner etched the number "06" on the bottom.

Sweet Fenton Glass top hat can be used as a vase, planter, candy dish or general what-not organizer. The art glass has an interesting look with Fenton's French Opalescent white interspersed with clear glass giving the piece a striped look. I think the glass top hat would look nifty filled with red and green candies for the holiday season.
The glass vase dates from the late 1930s to early 1940s. It is missing its Fenton label. The piece is in very good condition. No chips. No cracks.
Piece is approximately 3" tall with a 2 3/4" base diameter. The top measures about 4 3/8" across by 3 5/8".

Made by Idealite, in Jersey City, N.J. back in the 1930s, this rare vintage globe light fixture features a steel transfer painted orb set in a cast metal meridian lamp. The vintage world globe has gold oceans, a time dial at the top, and spins freely in its full meridian frame.
The metal globe is unmarked, but was most likely made by J. Chein, the toy manufacturer, who produced globes for various lamp companies from the 1920s to the 1960s. The early 1930s globe shows British Somaliland, Italian Somaliland (dissolved in 1936 upon the formation of Italian East Africa), French West Africa, Belgian Congo, Rhodesia, Persia, and Chosen.
The vintage lamp has its original cloth electrical cord and light bulb socket. The light fixture works, but is not up to current electrical codes. It is suggested that the electrical wiring be upgraded to current standards before using the lamp as a light source.
Globe has a 6 inch diameter.
Light fixture is approximately 11 1/2 inches tall.
Marked Idealite Inc. Jersey City, N.J. on top of metal meridian.
Globe and metal base show age approximate wear including some paint loss, soiling, dings, and general wear.
Note Bene: As with all vintage lamps, its best to have the electrical works upgraded to current standards before use in your home.
