Vintage cast metal buffalo bookends would make a striking decor accent in a cozy rustic cabin, man cave, Southwestern style room, or a sophisticated library setting.

The antique metal bookends are identical in look and quality as the Verona American Foundry's classic buffalo bookends, but the pieces have no identifying marks.

The cast metal bookends have a copper bronze finish, impressive detail, and a good heft. The vintage bookends are in very good condition.

Hang a piece of history on your wall. This dramatic Cold War era propaganda poster was a winner in the Marshall Plan European Recovery Program's 1950 poster contest promoting European unity and cooperation.

Designed by Swedish artist Erik Oelmebo, the art poster shows all the European countries involved with the Marshall Plan pulling together to accomplish "Samarbette for Fred, Frihet, Hogre Levnadsstandard" -- Co-operation for Peace, Freedom, and a Higher Standard of Living.

This poster is an original lithograph from 1950 and is in remarkable condition for its age. It was part of the estate of a graphic artist who collected all 25 winning posters in the Marshall Plan poster contest. The posters were all stored flat in a drawer in a climate-controled studio. The poster shows some wear around the edges with very small tears, but no paper loss. The colors are vibrant.

This poster has been stored flat not rolled.

Use these small vintage white ceramic chemistry crucibles for a unique decor touch. Fill the small white bowls with confetti, small candies, a single flower blossom, or any small decorative item. Line the porcelain bowls up on your holiday dinner table for fresh take on a centerpiece.

The white porcelain bowls are small and have a delicate look. They were used in a science lab and show wear including some spots of discoloration. One bowl in the set is a small strainer with a perforated bottom. This bowl has a small chip on the bottom.

Five of the small porcelain lab crucibles are marked "Coors U.S.A." One small white bowl, the largest of the group is marked on the bottom with Japanese characters.

The tallest bowl is 1 5/8" tall.
The widest bowl has approximately 2 1/4" top diameter.

Oh dear, this moose is so cute. I couldn't resist picking him up at an estate sale despite his flaws. Made by Copr Ornamental Arts & Crafts, this chalkware moose statue is amazingly detailed, and would be the perfect accent for your rustic home decor, lake cabin, or man cave retreat.

I couldn't find much information on Copr Ornamental. They were known for making chalkware TV lamps in the 1950s.

The moose is in fair vintage condition. It looks as if his head has been repaired. He is missing a portion of his surrounding forest vignette (please see photograph three). There is some paint loss and nicks. The back of the piece is flat and could easily be incorporated into a new work of moose art.

Piece measures approximately 9" long x 6 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" deep. It is impressed along the upper back edge "Copr Ornamental Arts & Crafts."

Vintage photographs make interesting wall decor in a home, office, or workshop. This black & white panoramic group shot shows the cast and supporting crew for the Montclair Operetta Club's Spring 1950 production of "The Student Prince."

This old photo is an original print not a reproduction. The panorama group picture measures approximately 19 1/4 inches long by 8 1/4 inches.

The vintage photo is in good condition. There is a crease on the left-hand side of the photograph, a few brown spots, and pin hole marks at the corners. There is a slight curling at the edge of the long photograph.

I have two other panoramic group photographs from the Montclair Operatta company, "The New Moon" produced November 1949 and "Song of Norway" produced November 1950. Condition is about the same for these photographs. Interested in all three vintage photos? Let me know and I'll put together a package deal.

The antique Biblical reference book has over 400 illustrations and eight colored vintage maps including ancient Jerusalem, Modern Jerusalem (circa 1880s), Sea of Galilee, Palestine in the time of Christ, and the Journey's of St. Paul.

Published in 1884, the vintage Bible reference book is in good condition showing typical wear and tear for its age. The antique book has a flexible leatherette cover. There is a crease running down the spine which corresponds to a crack in the binding -- see photograph four -- which does not effect the overall integrity of the book. Pages are clean and have a nice red edging.

Cute and kitchy vintage beaded Easter eggs will add a retro flare to your spring holiday decor. The decorative egg set includes a blue satin egg chariot with Easter bunnies and a sequin and beaded diorama with a goose and goslings.

The vintage Easter egg decorations come in a vintage chocolate box from Valerie Sweets in Newark N.J. filled with old-fashion shredded plastic grass.

The decorative Easter eggs are in good condition. The vintage chocolate rabbit box shows considerable wear including soiling, a broken box top corner and torn box bottom corner.

The miniature rabbit ornaments are in good vintage condition and have strings for easy hanging. A few of the wood rabbit figures have dried glue around the ears indicating that they may have been repaired at some point.

Depending on your perspective, this ceramic figurine could either be a sweet miniature white rabbit or a feisty March hare.

Rabbits are an ancient and widely found symbol of spring, renewal and fertility and are associated with the moon in Buddhist, Mayan and Mesopotamian cultures. The rabbit was sacred to Germanic fertility goddess Ostara or Eostre, and is closely linked to the celebration of the vernal equinox. The rabbit is the fourth sign on the Chinese astrological chart.

In this collectible paper box, you'll find a set of G. A. Glafey St Peter Nacht Lichte floating candles.


Two sets available:

One set includes tiny wax candles with flower surrounds, a metal and cork floatation element, tin tweezers, and about 35 candles.

Box two has over 50 candles and a cork floatation element but no tweezers.

Each paper box has a beautiful graphic of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and is marked "Made in Germany."

Boxes are in very good condition.

Box measures approximately 3 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1"; The tiny candles are about 1/2" long.

When ordering, please specify if you'd like the box with the tweezers or the box with more candles.

This antique miniature tin globe pencil sharpener is held up by Atlas, the mythological Titan god of endurance and astronomy. The vintage world globe shows the world as it was early in the 20th century before World War I.

Made in Germany circa 1910, the miniature metal globe shows the Congo States, Chinese Empire, Turkish Empire, St. Pedersburg, and the British Dominion (now the western Canadian provinces).

This rare tin globe has lots of character for its small size, and is in good condition for its age, showing minimal paint loss, a few scratches, and dings. The pencil sharpener blade is dull and doesn't work well.

Marked "Germany" on the bottom and "Made in Germany" on the metal globe between Atlas's head and shoulder.

Rare World War 2 era War Department pamphlet from the G.I. Roundtable series, What Shall Be Done With the War Criminals?, anticipates an Allied Forces win and the difficult task of dealing with German and Japanese war criminals.

This is a genuine World War 2 era pamphlet not a recent reprint. The vintage pamphlet is in very good condition but it does show signs of wear and age with some light toning to the paper and a crease on the cover at the bottom right-hand side.

Ralph Waldo Emerson's influential essays Self Reliance and Character are beautifully bound in this circa 1900 edition. The antique book has a decorative Arts and Crafts movement cover and title page.

The small book would make a wonderful gift for the literary enthusiast, lover of philosophy, or new college graduate.

Well over a hundred-years old, the vintage book shows wear and the passage of time. There is a gift inscription on a small card pasted in the front of the book and an ex libris bookplate from the library of Ray A. Sigsbee on the front endpaper. Except for brackets marking a passage on page 45 (see photograph 4), the pages are clean. The book's front hinge is beginning to break (see photograph five).

Straight from the estate of a retired mathematics professor, this bundle of vintage blue examination booklets are a nostalgic old school relic.

The vintage blue exam books have a lamp on the cover, the classic symbol of wisdom, and prompts with ruled lines for Name, Subject, Instructor, etc.

The small test booklets have stapled bindings and 16 pages (8 sheets) of wide blue ruled lines.

The bulk lot of exam booklets are in good to excellent condition with some notebooks showing wear at the edges and some toning from age. The lot includes ninety seven (97) booklets, fifty (50) of which are in their factory-sealed wrapping.

Booklets measure approximately 8 1/2" x 7".
