If you owned this antique globe pencil sharpener, you could hold the whole world in your hand. Made in Germany circa 1914, the miniature transfer painted steel globe has a simplified version of the World's political boundaries at the start of World War I.

This cool antique globe would make a unique graduation gift or photography prop.

Globe shows Congo State, Turkish Empire, Persia, Russian Empire, Chinese Empire, Pedersburg (St. Petersburg).

The small globe is in exceptional condition for its age showing a few small scratches and paint loss. Colors are vibrant. The metal sharpener works well.

Marked "Germany" on the sharpener element, on the bottom metal base, and
"Made in Germany" just above the South Pole.

Use these small vintage white ceramic chemistry crucibles for a unique decor touch. Fill the small white bowls with confetti, small candies, a single flower blossom, or any small decorative item. Line the porcelain bowls up on your holiday dinner table for fresh take on a centerpiece.

The white porcelain bowls are small and have a delicate look. They were used in a science lab and show wear including some spots of discoloration. One bowl in the set is a small strainer with a perforated bottom. This bowl has a small chip on the bottom.

Five of the small porcelain lab crucibles are marked "Coors U.S.A." One small white bowl, the largest of the group is marked on the bottom with Japanese characters.

The tallest bowl is 1 5/8" tall.

Hang a piece of history on your wall. This dramatic Cold War era propaganda poster was a winner in the Marshall Plan European Recovery Program's 1950 poster contest promoting European unity and cooperation.

Designed by Swedish artist Erik Oelmebo, the art poster shows all the European countries involved with the Marshall Plan pulling together to accomplish "Samarbette for Fred, Frihet, Hogre Levnadsstandard" -- Co-operation for Peace, Freedom, and a Higher Standard of Living.

This poster is an original lithograph from 1950 and is in remarkable condition for its age. It was part of the estate of a graphic artist who collected all 25 winning posters in the Marshall Plan poster contest. The posters were all stored flat in a drawer in a climate-controled studio. The poster shows some wear around the edges with very small tears, but no paper loss. The colors are vibrant.

This poster has been stored flat not rolled.

Rare World War 2 era War Department pamphlet from the G.I. Roundtable series, What Shall Be Done With the War Criminals?, anticipates an Allied Forces win and the difficult task of dealing with German and Japanese war criminals.

This is a genuine World War 2 era pamphlet not a recent reprint. The vintage pamphlet is in very good condition but it does show signs of wear and age with some light toning to the paper and a crease on the cover at the bottom right-hand side.

Depending on your perspective, this ceramic figurine could either be a sweet miniature white rabbit or a feisty March hare.

Rabbits are an ancient and widely found symbol of spring, renewal and fertility and are associated with the moon in Buddhist, Mayan and Mesopotamian cultures. The rabbit was sacred to Germanic fertility goddess Ostara or Eostre, and is closely linked to the celebration of the vernal equinox. The rabbit is the fourth sign on the Chinese astrological chart.

In 1941, Jack Goldberg won this 3rd place silver medal most likely for his musical ability as the prize has a Greek lyre on it. Today, this Art Deco collegiate award would make a cool conversation piece pinned onto a jacket or coat.

The prize medal looks as if it was never removed from its velvet display board. It has the letters "EE" set in blue enamel which could possibly represent the letters of fraternity or academic society.

The medal is in very good vintage condition. It does have some tarnish mostly on the jump ring connecting the medal to the ribbon.

Measurements: Display board measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/4". The medal measures 1" x 3/4" not including the ribbon section.

Occupied Japan ceramic figurine, this Asian man in colorful costume was made by Yamaka between 1947 - 1952. Hand painted in a vivid yellow and blue, the vintage figure has green cuffs and is holding a fan.

Ceramics marked "Made in Occupied Japan" are increasingly harder to find, especially in good condition. This collectible figure is in very good condition -- no cracks, chips or crazing. There are a few very small spots where the blue paint has rubbed away.

Vintage ledger book has an alphabetical section in the front for addresses and accounting grid pages for logging expenses, receipts, or any other notations you need to keep organized.

Bright yellow Provident Savings Bank beehive bank will liven up any child's room or your office desk.

Established in 1839, the Provident Bank of New Jersey, referred to itself as the "Beehive Bank," a bank for the working person. The beehive symbolized the hard work of laborers, servants, artisans, & shopkeepers.

Back in the day, banks frequently gave out gifts, usually toasters to entice people to open up new accounts, and piggy banks to encourage people to save money, which in turn they would deposit into their accounts.

Made by Plastique Unique of Santa Monica, California, this yellow beehive bank dates to the 1970s and is in very good condition.

Amazing set of vintage Sifo Indian Life tray puzzles in their original box have stunning images of Native Americans in action scenes. The tray jigsaw puzzle scenes include a teepee village, an Indian chief with full feather headdress, and two scenes on the American Plains.

These miniature glass vials from an old chemistry set make a colorful display, and would make an interesting accent in an office, workshop, man cave, or anywhere you want a quirky bit of home decor.

Five of the seven small vintage glass bottles have their original stoppers and some of their original chemical substances including Canadian balsa, copper, iron fillings, and sea salts. The methylene blue chemical bottle is empty, but is stained blue and has its stopper. The brine shrimp egg glass vial is empty and does not have a stopper.

Made in Germany, this cool antique world globe is also a pencil sharpener. This is an attractive and rare gold ocean version of a classic novelty globe from the early 20th century. The miniature globe shows a simplified version of the world as it was before the outbreak of World War I.

Globe shows Congo State, Turkish Empire, Persia, Russian Empire, Chinese Empire, Pedersburg (St. Petersburg).

The miniature metal globe is mounted in a sturdy wire meridian. The pencil sharpener blade is in the base and is in good working order.

This antique globe is well over 100 years old. It was used and loved by a previous owner. The Northern Hemisphere shows considerably more wear than the Southern Hemisphere. The red paint on Northern Africa is completely worn away.

Marked "Germany" on the bottom and
"Made in Germany" just above Antarctica .
Pencil Sharpener stands 3 1/2 Inches tall.

There is a small hole through on the upper left-hand corner for hanging the booklet from a string for easy reference.

An interesting relic from an old Catholic Church, this brass monstrance altar piece plate once adorned the front of a pulpit. The vintage brass plate shows a chalice with a host emanating rays of light.

The beautifully wrought brass design has great detail. The brass plaque is heavy and has a slight curve to it as it was once affixed to the front of a pulpit. The brass is in very good condition and shows a light patina of age.

Measures approximately 8 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches at its widest point.

Made by Apollo Studios New York, this beautiful brass maple leaf dish is a small work of art. The cast metal leaf has veining details and a graceful shape.

A division of Bernard Rice's & Sons,, Apollo Studios produced decorative household and vanity items in New York City from 1909 to 1922. A contemporary of the legendary Tiffany Studios, Apollo produced many similar items in the style of the time.

The brass leaf is in good antique condition. It was used in its time and shows evidence of wear, including spotting and light scratches. The piece has a lovely patina.

The leaf is bottom marked "Apollo" along with the mold number 6931.

The leaf is approximately 7 inches long including the stem by 4 1/4 inches wides.
