Cool gift idea!

Furiously fun vintage t-rex dinosaur figurine will add a unique touch to any decor, whether in a high tech office, modern living room, or man cave.

Made from cast metal with a bronze finish, the dinosaur is in very good condition for a vintage toy.

The miniature dinosaur model is approximately 5 1/4" long by 2 3/4" tall by 2 1/2" deep. The dinosaur figurine is marked "SRG" on the bottom.

The t-rex model comes in the gift box shown in photograph four.

SRG (Sell Rite Gifts) made a full line of cast metal dinosaur toy figurines from 1947 until about 1955. The dinosaurs were sold at the American Museum of Natural History in New York and other natural history museum across the United States.

The vintage catalog is fully illustrated with detailed line drawing of Keuffel and Esser products.

Bound in a hardcover book with the distinctive Keuffel and Esser K & E logo on the cover, the catalog is in very good condition. The binding is tight. Pages are clean. There is a sticker on the bottom of the front cover, an ink stamp front and back endpapers, as well as a sticker on the title page identifying the book catalog as belonging to the E.G. Rheum & Co, in Newark, N.J.

Three volumes from Britain in Pictures book series have decorative covers, color art plates, and numerous black and white illustrations. The attractive book set would make a great gift for an Anglophile, or unique decor accent in an English themed interior design scheme.

Launched in 1941 by Collins (now HarperCollins) when Europe was in the throes of World War II and the battle against the Germans was looking pretty grim, the Britain in Pictures series was a morale booster and reminder of what England was fighting for. Contributors to the series included George Orwell, Graham Greene, and Edith Sitwell. The series proved so popular that volumes continued to be published into 1949, with many volumes going into multiple printings. Book topics included such diverse subjects as boxing, birds, engineering, English farming, and British scientists.

The books are in overall good condition. The dust jackets are torn and worn around the edges with chipping on the spines, but they served their purpose and protected the decorative hardcover bindings. Pages are lightly tanned with age. The English Bible has a previous owner's name (Roland Edwards) and the date "F 16/2/45" written in blue ink on the front right-handside endpaper, "F 16/2/45" written in red on the front dust jacket flap, and some notations in red pencil.

I bought two wood-handled horse hair brushes at an estate sale recently and have discovered that a horsehair brush is the ideal tool to dust off a laptop computer. As I only need one brush, I am offering the other for sale. The brush has nice patina of age and cool industrial look. Hang it on the wall as a decor element when not in use.

The brush was once owned by a professional draftsman. The horse hair is in excellent and clean condition. The wood handle shows wear and has dings and scratches typical for a used tool. The handle is marked "Sterilized Hair Made in U.S. A.," & has a hole in it for a rope, making it easy to hang the brush near your desk for easy access.

Wood handle is approximately 14 1/4" long x 1" at its widest point. Horse hair brush area is approximately 9" long x 1 3/4" at this widest point.

Beautiful high-quality vintage Jay Yang fabric has an Asian inspired silk screened floral print in shades of brown, gold & rust. The fabric remnant is almost 4 yards long and suitable for a variety of sewing and craft projects.

The fabric content is not marked but is feels like cotton. The piece was unevenly cut along the selvedge on one side but the "Jay Yang" label is present.

Condition: Fabric remnant is in very good condition. No stains. No odors. No holes.

This lovely little porcelain Limoges dish can be used as a trinket tray or hung in a grouping with other antique plates. Marked "Oscar Gutherz Limoges" and "Pat. Aug. 21. 83" (that's as in 1883), the dish has an unusual triangular shape and a beautiful hand painted floral design. You can see the brush strokes.

The dish is in very good condition. No cracks. No chips. No crazing. There is some gold paint loss around the rim.

This small dish measures approximately 4 1/2" long x 3 1/8" wide.

The cards were once part of a Rand McNally's Know Your Stars and Planets flash card game.

These are genuine vintage flash card from the 1960s not reproductions. They were used in a school. Cards are in good condition, but expect some light evidence of wear.

Published in 1916 on the brink of the United States entering World War I, this small Catholic prayer book was made specifically to be carried in a soldier's or sailor's pocket during warfare.

The pocket-size book of Catholic prayers includes "A Plenary Indulgence at the Hour of Death," and a preface by John P. Chidwick, Chaplain of the U.S.S. Maine.

This vintage science fiction book has a cool cover graphic worthy of display that would make a unique decor accent in an office, media room, or man cave.

Initially serialized in the magazine Imagination, George O. Smith's sci fi classic was first published in book form as Highways in Hiding, and then revised and published by Avon Books as Space Plague.

Printed on pulp paper, the vintage paperback has tanned pages typical for publications printed on cheap paper. The cover is bright and shows minimal wear. Spine shows some wear. Binding is tight. Overall, a good clean copy of a collectible science fiction title.

Vintage Keuffel and Esser Paragon Wytetip Drop Bow Pen comes in its original cardboard box. The vintage drafting tool can be used or displayed as industrial decor with other vintage drafting equipment.

The high-quality stainless steel drafting instrument is in good condition but it does show signs of wear and patina of age. If you intend to use the drafting tool for drawing, you may want to give it a good cleaning first. I will leave that up to you.

The original K & E box is in good condition showing some shelf wear at the edges. The box displays well. Someone by the name of "Steve" wrote his name inside the box in red pencil.

In an age long ago before calculators and hand-held computers, people relied on printed mathematical tables to make quick calculations.

This interesting antique German book from the 1800s has mathematical tables for calculating monetary exchanges, along with numerous handwritten notations.

Published in 1821, the book's title roughly translate to "House & Economic Mathematic Tables."

The antique book has a section in the front for notations and an slot on the back cover edge in which to keep a small pen or pencil.

The book contains extensive handwritten notes in old German in both ink and pencil. The book has hand-marbled paper covered book boards which show wear. Most of the marbled paper is missing from the spine. The binding is tight. The book's pages are supple and show tanning from age and soiling.

Vintage Ketcham McDougall Pat Products retractable keychain pin is a nifty old-fashion purse accessory. The key chain device has a pin back which securely attachs to the inside of your purse. You put your keys on the chain holder, & voila, it's always easy to find your keys.

Dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s, Ketcham McDougall "Key Keeper" is in its original box and has never been used.

Pin is marked "Ketcham McDougall, Roseland, N.J. Made in U.S.A."

Keychain is in mint. Box shows some shelf wear.

This is the sweetest Hagen Renaker miniature white duck. Super tiny and as adorable, this vintage ceramic figurine is a mere 1 3/8" long and just shy of an inch tall. She is in a swimming pose with her eyes shut and head held high.

Now retired from the Hagen Renaker miniature animal series, this swimming mama duck with eyes closed is growing harder to find. The miniature figurine is not marked.

In good vintage condition. She has what looks like a tiny manufacturing imperfection on the tip of her bill (see photograph 2) and glue residue on the bottom (see photograph 4), perhaps from a removed tag.

Blue and white cotton gingham ribbon with embroidered daisies, this amazing vintage textile was made in France exclusively for Hyman Hendler, the king of sewing trims and ribbon.

They truly do not make ribbon like this anymore!

The ribbon is new old stock and in excellent condition.

Bolt contains over seven (7) yards of ribbon in three pre-cut lengths.
1 Yard plus 17"
2 Yards
4 Yards

Listing is for all three (3) pieces.

Ribbon is 3 1/8" wide.

I also have this ribbon trim in beige with white embroidery daisy as soon in photograph five (5). This trim will be listed in my shop very soon and will be available by the yard. I have a whole treasure trove of Hyman Hendler ribbons and trims. Send me a message for more information.
