This metal cigarette case is one smokin' vintage tobacciana collectible. The brass metal cover has an engraved map of the continental United States. The map indicates major cities across America. Most states also have a symbolic icon such as cattle in Texas, cactus in Arizona, oranges in Florida, and corn in Illinois. The hinged case is marked "Wadsworth Made in U.S.A."

You don't have to use this cool case for cigarettes. It would make a unique wallet or card case.

The cigarette case is in good vintage condition. It comes with its original felt pouch. The inside is very clean. The hinge works and is secure. Press the front button and the case pops open.

Case measures approximately 5 1/4" long x 3" wide x 1/4" deep.

In the days before computer generated charts, Dalton's Tables of Houses Spherical Basis of Astrology was (and for some serious astrologers, still is) the definitive reference book for charting horoscopes.

Published in 1975 by Macoy Publishing and Masonic Supplies, Co, Inc., Richmond, Virginia. The book is in very good condition with no underlining or highlighting. Former owner's name written in ink on the back endpaper.

But wait, there's more -- the former owner's astrological reading drawn up in 1978 by the legendary (in astrology circles) Neil Michelsen is included with the book. Michelsen, a former IBM employee, founded Astro Computing Service creating the first computer-generated ephemeris in 1976.

Vintage porcelain goose & gander pair would make a lovely wedding, anniversary, or housewarming gift for a loving couple.

The pre-World War II ceramic wild geese figures have nice detailing and are marked "Germany" on the bottom in green. One of the figurines is also impressed with the number "7872."

The geese are made from fine porcelain and are quite old -- circa 1920s - 1930s. The figurines are in good vintage condition. One of the figurines has a production flaw -- small patch of rough porcelain -- near the tail (see photograph two, goose on the right).

Each figurine is approximately 4 3/4 inches tall x 3 inches x 2 inches.

Visually interesting vintage wall sign beckons the reader to "Keep Left." The vintage industrial sign would make a fun decor accent in a man cave, office, or workshop.

The old directional sign is made from heavy pressed board. It hung in a workshop for many years and shows considerable signs of age including soiling, scratches, dings, and bumped corners, all of which add a great patina of age.

Vintage science fiction pulp paperback book has a fabulous sci fi art cover of a space ship with spacemen on a foreign planet.

Published in 1955 by Berkley Books, the vintage paperback would make a great gift for the science fiction enthusiast or a fun office decor accent.

The science fiction classic includes stories by Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Margaret St. Clair, John Berryman, Poul Anderson, and more.

This is a genuine vintage paperback book published in 1955 not a recent reprint. As such, the softcover book shows age appropriate wear with some creasing on the cover and pages tanned with age. Vintage new old stock fortune teller game contains the making of a fun party game experience.

Produced by "The Fun Manufacturing Co.," the vintage game contains a small game board entitled Fortune Teller's Hand Book Funny Fortunes by I.C. Stars. the "secret edition." Also included in the package are small cardboard game tokens marked with zodiac signs.

I found a reference to the game in the 1948 Catalog of Copyright Entries, Third Series stating the copyright holder as George Robert Titman dba (doing business as) Fun Manufacturing Co. The packaging has a 1948 copyright in Roman numerals.

The game board measures 4 inches by 2 1/2 inches folded in half. The cardboard game tokens about a 3/4 inch diameter. The game is new old stock and shows light shelf wear.

Rare Commonwealth Plastic Corp. world globe bank has a 4 1/2 inch diameter and brightly colored oceans and continents.

Made in Leominister, Massachusetts, this small vintage globe is made of plastic. It has a weighted base (sounds like the base is filled with sand) and a coin slot in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean.

The vintage world globe bank would make a great graduation gift, office decor accent, or photo prop.

This simplified world globe shows country designations (including several antiqued terms) but no cities.

Impressive in weight and in rendering, these beautiful antique elephant bookends made by Verona circa 1925 have an Art Deco styling and a bronze finish. The vintage cast iron bookends make an attractive pair and will look striking in a your home library or office.

A great gift for the elephant lover, the vintage metal bookends will fit into any decor.

The bookends are very heavy weight approximately 4 1/2 pounds together. The elephant bookends are in good condition showing wear consistent with their age (about 90-years old). Each bookend has a worn piece of green felt on the bottom put there long ago by a previous owner to protect their furniture. The felt can easily be removed. The Verona foundry mark is present on one of the elephants but has mostly worn away. The elephants are marked "Pat. Pend."

Elephant bookends measures approximately 5 1/2 inches tall by 6 inches long by 2 1/8 inches deep.

Classic Victorian era school reading primer has delightful illustrations, stories, and vocabulary word lists. The antique children's school book has a red decorative cover with a masted ship inside a crest. The vintage school book is a charmer and be could used as a unique decor accent in a modern classroom or child's nursery.

This is a genuine antique book published in 1898. The book was read in classrooms by children. The vintage book shows wear consistent with its age and use including wear to the cover with worn corners, soiling, tanned paper, a few pencil marks, and small tears. Previous owner wrote her name in a neat script along with the date in pencil on the front end paper (Jane Adams July 17th 1899).

Included in the lot are two (2) "Rules for Playing the Game of Careers" pamphlets (1957 edition), six (6) lift to erase magic slate score pads, a stack of play money in denominations from $50 to $10,000, a stack of "Opportunity" cards, a stack of "Experience" cards, two (2) red dice, seven (7) assorted game pawns -- five are plastic and original to the game, two are wood.

This lot does not include the game board.

The set would make a fun gag gift for a college graduate, table decor for a graduation party, or a quirky photo prop.

Pieces are all in good vintage condition showing typical signs of age.

Snowy pinecone clip-on earrings with original decorative packaging card marked "Merry Chirstmas" with bell motif and lady with a parasol, the curiosity of the card is almost as intriguing as the intricate detail on the pine boughs and cones.

The pine boughs are obviously plastic, although it is very difficult to discern if they are molded or carved. I don't believe these are celluloid. They could be Bubbleite. They are very light weight.

The pinecones are so realistic--I've examined them under a loop, that I ponder the possibility that they are real pinecones that have been dipped in a brownish gold paint. Please note that there is a little bit of green on the pinecones. There are sparkles embedded on the white plastic boughs and the pinecones.

Never worn, these earrings are in very good vintage condition. The gold-tone clip-back is marked "Japan." The style dates these earring to the 1950s.

Earrings come in a gift box ready for giving.

Card Dimenstions: 3" x 2 7/8" Card has some creasing and yellowing.
