Classic vintage embroidered Christmas handkerchief was given as a gift one holiday long ago and was never used by the recipient. In pristine condition, the white cotton Desco Switerzland hanky will be sent to you in its original Bamberger's department store gift box. The delicate handkerchief has a lovely hand embroidered Christmas candle and holly motif.

Included in the gift box is small cotton sachet in the shape of a Christmas ornament embroidered with the same holiday motif as the handkerchief. This is a sweet hanky & sachet set and would make an ideal gift for a handkerchief collector.

Handkerchief is approximately 13" square and is in unused condition.

The Bamberger's box show some shelf wear around the edges. Box measures 10 1/8" x 7 1/4".

This Chase Hand Painted Japan ceramic angel figurine was originally part of a larger set of choir cherubs. The angel is robed in white and has a 1940s hairstyle. The angel holds a scroll of music.

Made in the late 1940s - early 1950s, this angel is a classic mid-century Christmas decoration produced in Japan for the American market.

The angel statue is in good vintage condition showing typical wear including some paint loss. She has her original Chase Hand Painted label and is marked "Japan" in red.

Measurements: Approximately 5" tall x 2" wide x 1 1/2" deep.

Vintage fleur de lis with a gold gilt finish broke off the top of a French provincial style lamp decades ago. The lamp is long gone. The finial made its way to the garage where it hung on a hook until I recently picked it up and brought it into the house.

Ripe for repurposing, this cool bit of salvage can be used as a wall hanging or worked into a new arts & craft project.

The fleur de lis is in very good condition. I'm not sure of the piece's composition. There is a seam running along the sides indicating that it was made in a mold. It is not hollow and has some heft to it.

Let not your heart be troubled, John 14:1

This antique Bible verse sign is a rare find. The pressed cardboard sign is embossed with a Bible quote, and has a religious print depicting Jesus comforting a follower. The print is surrounded by beautiful embossed and hand-colored lily of the valley flowers. Dating from approximately the 1920s, the sign has a burgundy flocked finished on the front and its original cord at the top for easy hanging on a wall.

The antique sign is in good condition. There is some wear and rubbing to the flocking, wear around the edges, and light staining on the reverse side. Sign is marked "Made in U.S.A. No 5390."

The antique religious plaque measures 13 inches by 6 1/2 inches.

Stop staring at me!

This vintage eye model will have everyone staring at it. Made in Germany by Somso, the famous anatomy model maker, the eye is a work of art. Somso models are individually hand assembled, and painted with exacting detail and anatomical accuracy. The science model is sturdy and in great condition. The anatomy model comes apart revealing the inner structure of the eye.

From the estate of an ophthalmologist, the model eyeball dates from the late 1950s, and was designed for use by medical students. The model is clean and shows minimal wear. All six original parts are present. Various points are marked with numerals, but the corresponding guide is lost to time.

The eyeball model would make an interesting prop or decor accent no matter where you choose to display it.

The eye model stands approximately 7 3/4 inches tall fully assembled.

A pair of doves build their nest symbolizing cooperation and a new start under the European Recovery Program (ERP) Marshall Plan. Designed by Austrian artist Rudolph Korunka, this art poster won 5th place in the 1950 Intra-European Cooperation for a Better Standard of Living poster contest.

The European Recovery Program (ERP) or Marshall Plan (1948 - 1951), conceived by George C. Marshall, Army Chief of Staff during WW II & Truman's Secretary of State, sought to politically stabilize & rebuild the economies of war-torn European countries while hindering the spread of Communism.

Held in 1950, the Intra-European Cooperation for a Better Standard of Living poster contest, drew over 10,000 entries. A panel of graphic artists selected 25 winning posters. The posters are graphically stunning pieces of political propaganda and historically interesting bits of ephemera from the early Cold War era.

This poster is an original poster, not a reproduction. The poster is in excellent vintage condition with just some minor wear around the edges. The poster has been stored flat.

Written by Carla Greene and illustrated by Katherine Evans, this child's career book is part of a series published in the late 1950s and early 1960s by the Children's Press. The green cloth binding has black lettering & yellow graphics of children dressed in the clothing for various careers, such as a fireman, doctor, teacher, cowboy, seamstress, baker, and football player.

Book is in good condition for a 50+ year-old children's book that was used in a public school system. The cloth binding is fraying at the edges and has worn away completely at the top and base of the spine. Binding is tight. Pages are clean. Book has a date (May 29, 1961) and Cedar Grove, N.J. Board of Education stamp on the front right-hand side endpaper.

Beautiful example of California pottery made by Wade of California in the 1960s. The fabulous modern spiral shape is predominantly avocado green with swirls of mint green.

Originally intended as an ashtray, the dish can be used to serve tidbits or candies. Imagine it filled with orange goldfish crackers!

The bowl is in very good vintage condition. No cracks. No chips.

Wade Ceramics produced pottery in North Hollywood between 1965 and 1967. This piece is marked "Wade of Calif. U.S.A." along with the number "700."

Vintage stone egg has a beautiful yellow color with gray veining. Sculpted from onyx, the vintage rock egg can be displayed at Easter or used all year round as a paperweight.

Circa 1970, this sculpted stone egg paperweight is most likely Mexican origin. It has a handwritten sticker on the bottom identifying the stone as onyx. The beautiful nature stone is heavy for its size and in good condition.

Beautifully illustrated and informative, Conservation and Nature Activities published by the Audubon Society of Canada, provides practical and fun ways for children to engage with wildlife, plants and trees, rocks and minerals, the stars, and the sea, and more.

The vintage book has a "Nature Activities Week by Week Throughout the Year" section with amazing graphics and clear project instructions.

This is a vintage children's activity book from the 1950s. The book is protected in a mylar cover. The binding is tight. Pages are tanned with age but supple. The book belonged to a summer camp library and has the camp's name "The Joy Camps," stamped on the page edges and written in pencil on the front endpaper.
