Four (4) gold glass Christmas ornament clusters on florist sticks have a total of 12 shiny bright orbs. Use these vintage floral decorations in wreath making, holiday crafts, or for a simple Christmas centerpiece.

Circa 1960s ornaments are in good condition with the usual spotting and paint loss for glass decoration of this age. Several of the balls have lost their sheen and have a very attractive matte finish.

This lovely set of little leather books makes a big impact on a library shelf. Part of the Coleccion Crisol Spanish language editions of beautifully bound leather books, these five volumes can start you on your collecting journey to gather all 400 volumes in the series.

These are vintage books dating from the 1940s and 1950s. Each charming volume has an attached ribbon book mark.

The books show typical wear including rubbing, minor chipping at the base of one spine, soil spots on one cover (see photograph 3). One volume has the previous owner's bookplate in the front and the other 4 books have the previous owner's name written in ink. One volume has a gift inscription.

Each book measures approximately 4 3/4" x 3 3/8".

These are the real deal -- vintage Shiny Brite glass Christmas ornaments. This 12-pack assortment in shades of pink & red, is very old, dating back to the late 1940s.

The ornaments show their age. They are discolored, spotted, faded & have paint loss. But, they are beautiful. Some of them have white stuff on them which I'm guessing is old spray on "snow." Please look closely at the photographs.

Ornaments come in the bottom portion of an original Shiny Brite box. The box is missing its top.

Assortment includes stripes in pink, white, silver & gold, two of which have some mica. Four ornaments have stenciling (3 with "Merry Christmas" & 1 with Santa flying in his sled with reindeer).

Orbs are approximately 3" from cap to base.

Vintage 1940s Air France ashtray designed after Lucien Boucher, this heavy glass ashtray would have been found in first class airport lounges. The beautiful compass design is surrounded stylized icons and the flora and fauna of the countries to which Air France flew during the 1940s, as well as vignettes in each corner of their air traffic routes.

The colors are more muted on this ashtrays than on others of this type that I have seen as this ashtray is the older, rarer version. The tray does not show as many air traffic routes as the more vibrant colored and newer ashtrays.

The ashtray is marked "D'Apres Lucien Boucher" in the lower left-hand corner which translates to "After Lucien Boucher," meaning it was not actually designed by the poster artist, but was designed in his style. The ashtray is also marked "A. Gerrer S.A. Mulhouse" and "Perceval Paris."

This ashtray is a rare piece of airline memorabilia and would make an amazing man cave gift or present for the aviation buff on your holiday gift list.

Alas, this fine ashtray is not perfect. In addition to showing general age-related wear, the ashtray has two small chips in the glass -- one on the edge of one of the cigar/cigarette indents, and one along the side as shown in photograph four (4).

The ashtray measures approximately 6 1/2" square.

Published in 1869, this is a solid copy of a rare book -- Paris En 1794 Et En 1795 Histoire de La Rue, Du Club, de La Famine. The antique book has a lovely hand-marbled paper book cover and lots of character.

This is a genuine antique book, not a modern reprint. The book shows considerable wear from use and the passing of time including considerable cover wear particularly around the edges and at the top of the spine, soiling, and water stains on two pages -- the page opposite the title page and page 176 (see photographs 3 & 4). Pages are clean. Binding is tight.

This trio of polyester knit fabric samples from Blue Ridge Winkler Textiles, a division of Lehigh Valley Industries, Inc. can be used for any number of arts & crafts projects.

The knit samples are in shades of orange red, blue, & purple in a tone-on-tone pattern interspersed with gray. The set of three samples comes with one Blue Ridge Winkler Textile tag identifying one of the colors as "Flame Red."

Each fabric sample measures 36" x 39". The purple sample has a small 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" square cut out of one corner.

Fabric is in good, clean condition.

Small Stangl leaf in a lovely shade of purple can be used for condiments on your dining table, or your dresser for jewelry and trinkets.

Stangl, the legendary American art pottery was found in 1814 & produced its wares in Flemington, New Jersey. Known worldwide for its beautiful and functional pieces, Stangl produced everything from ceramic drain pipes & storage crocks in the early 19th century to art pottery and modern dinnerware in the 20th century. The business closed its doors in 1978.

This sweet little leaf is impressed on the underside with "Stangl U.S.A." &"3527."

Leaf is in very good vintage condition. There are a few manufacturing bumbles on the top and two rough, unglazed spots on the bottom, one of which shows wear. These two spots are not visible when the piece is displayed.

Measurements: Approximately 4" long x 3 1/8" at its widest point.

Renowned for their metal work, Scandinavian designers set the standard for modern mid-century pewter & silver jewelry. Pin this floral brooch onto a black turtleneck sweater for a very modernist look.

The pin is marked "Narke," which is a town in Sweden, as well as the Swedish word for the cowslip flower. The flower on the brooch is clearly a cowslip. Very cool! The pin also has a markers mark "B.T. Sweden" and has the look of a Tennesmed piece.

This lovely pin will come in a gift box ready for giving.

The pin is in good condition. There is a scratch on the back near the makers mark. The pin back shows oxidation. It could be cleaned but I will leave it to you. The very tip of the pin point has a slight curve to it. I'm not sure if this is original or not. The pin works just fine and is very secure.

Vintage 1940s Alamo Pottery planter, this robin egg blue ceramic bowl has wonderful art deco styling. Made by the Alamo Pottery company in San Antonio, TX, the planter is stamped with the studio's blue mark and number 748.

Alamo Pottery is very had to find as it was only made between 1945 & 1951. This is a beautiful example of Alamo's art pottery. Add it to your collection!

Condition: Planter is in very good condition. No chips, no cracks, no crazing. The planter was used as a planter and has a slight soil ring and some spotting on the bottom.

Weathered book set of two Norman Mailer classics will not only look great on your bookshelf but are well worth the read.


Norman Mailer's The Naked and The Dead, considered one of the best novels of World War II, catapulted the 25-year-old author to literary fame upon it's publication in 1948. The Rinehart symbol (an R in a circle) on the copyright page indicates that this is a 1st edition copy of this 20th-century classic.

Includes a New York Herald Tribune Weekly Book Review clipping of Richard Match's May 9, 1948 review of the book. I found the clipping neatly folded between pages 642 & 643. Consequently, there is significant yellowing on these pages from prolonged contact with the clipping.

Here's a quote from this glowing review.

"'The Naked and the Dead' is about infantrymen--or, rather, men in the infantry --and the despair, the lung-searing fatigue, the unutterable terror and horror of jungle war.
