This vintage set of Hagen Renaker ducks includes three swimming ducks, to tiny large-headed ducklings, and two duck bottoms (duck butts!).

These darling miniature ceramic figurines are simply adorable. The two tiny ducklings are retired Hagen Renaker figures. The others are vintage figurines, not the current reissues.

The swimming ducks measure just about 1 inch long. The teeny tiny ducklings are 1/4 inch tall.

Three (3) volumes from the prestigeous Bibliothèque de la Pléiade series of books, this decorative set of books includes the complete works of Pascal, Corneille, La Rochefoucauld. Mais qui, les livres sont en Français. This is a terrific starter collection for your library.

Created in the 1931 by Jacques Schiffrins, who later went on to found Pantheon Books, Bibliothèque de la Pléiade volumes are high-quality books with a slightly larger than pocket-size format. Each book in the set is bound in leather, has gold gilt lettering and spine decorations, a clear plastic dust jacket and is printed on Bible paper -- a thin grade of wood-free uncoated paper often used for Bibles containing cotton or linen fibers which increases the paper's durability without adding bulk. The books were published by Gallimard and printed in France.

The red leather bindings are in very good condition. Each volume has two attached red ribbon book marks. Some minor soiling on pages edges, most notably on the top page edges of the Pascal volume. The top edge pages of Corneille & La Rochefoucauld are tinted gray. The Pascal volume is illustrated. The clear plastic dust covers show shelf wear around the edges, most noticeably at the top of the spines. There is a small tear on the plastic dust cover at the top front of the La Rochefoucauld volume. There is some rubbing at bottom edges of the book. Over all, this collection is very good condition.

Alleluia!

Rainbow-colored enamel alleluia pendant made by Terra Sancta Guild Israel harkens back to the age of aquarius and folk rock masses. A fabulous piece of religious jewelry, the piece is heavy and of very high quality.

The pendant necklace is on a silky navy blue cord that ties around the neck. Dating from the late 1960s - early 1970s, the pendant is in excellent vintage condition. I don't think it was ever worn. Pendant is hallmarked on the back "Terra Sancta Guild Israel Phila" along with a copyright symbol.

Pendant comes in a gift box ready for giving.

Pendant measures approximately 1 5/8" long by 1 1/2" wide. Cord is approximately 30" long.

Wonder Books with washable covers were mainstay reading for the baby boomer generation. They were found in schools, doctor and dentist offices, libraries, and local bookshops. This marvelous vintage store display sign advertises Wonder Books at their 1950s price -- a mere 25 cents per title.

This genuine vintage sign is perfect for any decor, hang it in the nursery, child's room, office, man cave, or library.

Constructed out of rigid pressboard, the sign is in good vintage condition. It has some nicks, mostly around the edges, and soiling from hanging in a book shop, and then being in storage for many years.

Sign measures 22 inches long x 6 inches high.

Party Time For Boys and Girls vintage vinyl LP record harks back to the days when most children's birthday parties consisted of cake, ice cream, a round of hokey pokey and pin the tail on the donkey.

A bit of baby boomer nostalgia, this recording of classic children's music from the 1950s captures all the party favorites.

The cover graphic is just so retro and awesome. Frame it and hang it on the wall. It would make a great gag birthday gift for a baby boomer. The cover would also make interesting wall decor in a nursery or child's room.

This record album is more for show than for play. There is a scratch which may effect the albums full playability. The album sleeve has separated along the bottom, but is otherwise in good shape.

The album sleeve includes instructions for playing the Hokey Pokey, Counting Song, Here We Go Looby-Loo, I'm a Little Tea-Pot and the Bunny Hop. The sleeve also has extensive "technical data" describing the recording process, frequency ranges and how to play the record.

A most unusual and very cool sterling silver cat brooch, this classic mid-century modern cat has a mother of pearl belly, and can be worn as a pin or as a pendant.

The cat brooch has a large loop along with a pin back making it easy to wear this piece of cat jewelry in a variety of ways.

Stamped "925" inside the pendant loop.

The brooch is in good vintage condition. The silver has a lovely oxidized patina from age. I have not polished up the silver, but you can do so with a gentle silver polish should you prefer a shiny silver to an oxidized silver look.

The brooch is 2 inches long by approximately 1 3/4 inches wide.

Book set of Dante's Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso, these small volumes from the Temple Classics series feature these master works of literature in the original Italian and in English translation.

Published by J.M. Dent, each book has a beautiful title page with a protective tissue paper cover.

The books are in good condition showing age appropriate wear. The dust jackets are in poor, tattered condition with splitting, tears, and paper loss. You may opt to display with lovely book set without the dust jackets. Each volume has a blue cloth binding with a decorative gold gilt design and title on the spine along with an embossed owl on the cover. Each book has an attractive mid-century modern bookplate with the previous owner's name "Dorothea Burns." The books have some underlining and notations.

Vintage 1940s American Airline brochures harken back to the early days of commercial air travel. This awesome group of aviation advertising brochures comes in a nifty folder marked "The American Airlines System" &"Business," "Airfreight," &"Pleasure." The folder holds 7 brochures promoting American Airlines the new DC-6 & the Convair. American refers to them as their "5- Mile-A-Minute Flagship Fleet."

In the late 1940s American Airlines had three branches, American Airlines Inc., American Overseas Airlines, Inc., & American Airlines De Mexico, S.A. In 1950, Pan American Airways bought the American Overseas Airlines division.

These colorful brochures were printed and lithographed in the U.S.A.

7 Brochures include:

1. Take Your Family with You For Only Half Fare -- This small format brochure measures 6" x 3" folded and 8 3/4" x 6" fully open.

2. American Airlines 5-Mile-A-Minute Flagship Fleet -- Measuring 9" x 4" closed, this brochure opens to a small poster size measuring 15 3/4" x 17 1/2". The brochure highlights American Airline's new flagship aircraft, the DC-6 & the Convair. It has a map of the current airline routes including American Airlines, "other airline," &"American Airline system - International routes not yet in operation." The map is dated 1948 and was drawn by the General Drafting Company. The brochure brags that the DC-6 will get you from New York to Los Angeles in 11 hrs 10 minutes in "Living Room Comfort."

3. Why Be An Ostrich About Wintertime Air Travel? 9" x 4" closed; 9" x 12" open. Brochure assures the potential winter air traveler that "American's Five-Mile-A-Minute Fleet is equipped with special devices, engineered specifically to meet seasonal conditions."

4. It's So Easy to go to Mexico - With a strapping matador on the cover this brochure measures 9" x 4" closed and 9" x 19 3/4" open. It includes an air traffic route map for the U.S.A. & Mexico.

5. Europe in Winter in Comfort by American Flagship - 9" x 4" closed; 9" x 12" open. Include American Airlines system map for USA and European routes. Boasts that it will get your to London from New York in 13 hours & 55 minutes.

6. The Sun Country - 9" x 4" closed; 9" x 19 3/4" open. Cover entices the traveler to "Give winter the go-by - find your place in the sun - go American to Arizona Texas California New Mexico." Has map showing the "Southern Sunshine Route."

7. American Airlines Maps - Routes of the Flagships. 9" x 4" closed; 9" x 12" open. One side of this brochure opens to a full page color lithographed American Airlines route map for the U.S.A. Mexico & Cuba with indicators to their international routes. The other side shows American Overseas Airlines, Inc. routes to Europe.

The envelope folder measures 9 3/4" x 5 3/4" closed & 9 3/4" x 14" open.

The folder and brochures are in very good condition for their age. They show wear around the edges.

Trio of vintage glass Christmas ornaments made in Poland in the 1940s will bring a lovely sparkle to your tree. Made of hand blown glass, the teardrop ornaments are decorated with white mica flakes. One ornament has red stripes with silver, another has gold, blue, & dark pink stripes, and the third one has gold, dark pink, & sea foam green stripes.

Each ornaments has a metal cap for hanging. Two of the caps are marked "Poland."

The ornaments are in good vintage condition showing typical wear including scratches, oxidation marks, and light soiling.

Rare antique Bible, this is a a Douay version of the Holy Bible translated from the Latin Vulgate.

Referred to as a portable edition in the notation by The Right Reverend Cornelius Denvir, this small bible measures 5 5/8 inches by 4 inches and is 1 3/4 inches wide -- a bit too big to fit into a conventional pocket.

The Bible is in good condition showing wear consistent with the age of the book (over 160 years old) including rubbing to the cover, bumped corners, foxing and tanning to the paper. Binding is tight. Passage 2 & 3 of St. John, Chapter III (affecting pages 241 & 242) has been cleanly cut from the book. Priced accordingly.

Vintage Symphony Scarf with it's original Village Vogue Chicago department store price tag is a true rare find. The mid-century modern art fish mobile motif is simply fantastic. The scarf also has its signature Symphony Scarf metal violin hang tag as well as a cloth tag stating "Hand Rolled Pure Silk Made in Japan."

This scarf is a work of art! You can certainly wear it, but the scarf could also be framed and used as a fabric wall hanging.

This is a vintage book published back in 1923. It has a previous owner's name (Dorothy W. Brace) and the date (1923) written in ink in the front of the volume.
