Vintage Kimax 500 ml glass chemistry beaker would make a great addition to your scientific laboratory equipment collection. This interesting looking piece of glass lab equipment is called a filter flask, also known as a side-arm flask, vacuum flask, and a Büchner flask, named after the industrial chemist Ernst Büchner.
Laboratory glass looks great on display in either your home or office, lending a scientific industrial touch to your decor. And, it can be functional too. Use the glass as a unique vase.
I have two filter flasks in stock. The one in this listing dates to the 1960s and is made from a heavy-weight glass. The second flask is lighter, and a less pronounced rim. If you are interested in purchasing both pieces, let me know and I will list the second flask for you.
Approximately 7 1/2 inches tall with a 4 inch base diameter.
Marked "500 ml Kimax USA No. 27060" with graduated volume markers from 200 ml to 400 ml.
