This brass bell from the Bells of Sarna Collection has a lovely star design and a pleasing ring.

Brass Sarna bells are made in India & Indonesia, but not in a town named "Sarna." The bells, along with other India decorative brass items were imported to the U.S.A. by Sajjan Singh Sarna. Born in Rawalpindi (now part of Pakistan) in 1920, Sarna came to the United States to study dairy manufacturing, but instead found his calling importing Indian handicrafts. He created a thriving business, and was a member of the American Bell Association. He died in the 1970s.

The bell looks as though it once has some coloration that has faded over time. The bell is marked SSS India 68-3 inside.

Rolling Stone's Gimme Shelter is not only a great rock and roll tune, but also the name of a documentary film covering the final leg of the band's 1969 U.S. tour, including the infamous Altamont Free Concert.

What you are looking at in this listing is Gimme Shelter in RCA SelectaVision VideoDisc format. Released in 1970, the movie quickly became a rock and roll classic. Selectavision disc players have mostly gone the way of the dinosaur. This disc has not been tested, and I cannot vouch that it is in playable condition. Should you happen to have a working Capacitance Electronic Disc (CED) system player lying around, you could check it out.

I'm selling the disc as a display piece akin to a vintage poster. The graphics on the front and back covers are amazing. Feature either the picture of Mick Jagger captured at the height of his youthful bad-boy rock star look, or display the back cover with the full band in pink silhouette against a teal green background, red lips, and a publicity blurb.

The disc cover is in good condition but it does show wear including soiling, dings, scratches, and tears, with several spots of paper loss.

Measures 14 inches x 12 7/8 inches wide 5/15 deep.

In a colorful checkered costume, this harlequin figurine from Italy looks as if he is poised to tell a joke or turn a cartwheel.

Made of resinous plastic material and hand painted, the sturdy figure dates from the 1950s and shows age appropriate wear. There are some marks and minor paint loss. The figure is marked 'Italy" on the bottom.

The comic figure of the harlequin, or court jester, can be traced back to at least the 16th century. A popular character in Italian commedia dell'arte, the light-hearted harlequin was known for his wit and agility, developing into a romantic hero in the 18th century.

The harlequin stands about 8" tall and is about 4" wide and 2" deep.

Everywoman, an ladies underwear catalog distributed by Sisson Brothers-Welden, prominent dry goods store in Binghamton, N.Y., is filled with amazing illustrations of women wearing various styles of undergarments knitted by Richelieu Mills of Utica, N.Y.

Although the antique catalog is not in fine condition, I just could not resist the information and images it contains, from its cover with illustrations of 12 beautiful woman sporting a variety of hairstyles, to the brief "Everywoman" story that begins, "When Eve's curiosity led her into the indiscretion that resulted in her loss of social position she took to sewing...," to the pictures of women with rosy cheeks in modest cotton knit underwear.

The adverting booklet is undated. The hair and clothing styles, and advertisements for the Win-Sum union suit date the catalog to 1910 - 1912.

The front cover of the booklet is heavily spotted with soil and foxing. The back cover has a hole that penetrates through to the last page of the booklet (see photograph 2). There are some numerical pencil notations on the inside back cover and stray pencil marks and soiling on the back cover. Pages are browned with age. The bottom page corners are bent and a few are chipped. There is some paper loss on the stapled spine.

Authentic antique Victorian button up boots, these beautiful brown leather shoes were the height of fashion back in the late 1800s. This pair of boots is gold stamped "Saks & Company New York" inside each ankle.

This amazing pair of leather boots are in remarkable condition for shoes made in the late 19th century. The leather has some peeling, nicks, and scratches in spots, but over all is very supple. The left boot has all of its original eleven leather-covered buttons. The right boot is missing four buttons. The soles and heels are in good condition.

Etsy only allows five images per listing. I'd be happy to send you additional photographs of these fabulous boots.

The boots are approximately a contemporary size 6 - 6 1/2. I wear a 6 - 6 1/2, and was able to try them on. I was not able to button up the ankles. If I could, I wouldn't be selling them!

Instant collection of 12 spools of darning cotton & silk mending thread including thread from J. P. Coats, Belding Corticelli, Belding Heminway, & Woolco.

The various size spools and shades of brown and beige make for a very pleasing display. The threads are also useable.

Spool sizes range from a mere 1/2" to 1 1/2". Some spools are plastic, some are wood, and the large J.P. Coats spools are cardboard.

The cover of this vintage Bellas Hess Mail Order catalog is truly amazing, capturing the bustle of the New York City just before the stock market crash of 1929 which led to the Great Depression. The scene is a hive of activity centered on Times Square. The street is filled with automobiles and trolley cars. The sidewalks are filled with people. There are planes and a blimp flying in the air space, and American flags waving in the breeze.

Open the vintage catalog, and you'll find the latest roaring 20s fashions, including women's dress, shoes, men's clothing, children's clothing, coats for the entire family, furs, glove, boots & shoes, hats, watches, toys, fabric, bedding, general household items, beauty products, and more. The large-format catalog is a terrific 1920s resource.

The catalog is in acceptable condition for its age. It was not printed on high-quality paper. The paper is tanned with lots of small tears at the edges. The cover shows wear particularly at the edges with rips, creases, tears and paper loss. The spine shows wear with paper loss. Please note the damage at the bottom of the spine and front cover. Binding is tight.

There are cuttings taken from pages 19, 20, 21, 22, 60, & 61.

There are also a number of finely cut illustrations, mostly men and a few woman, that do not appear to have been clipped from this particular catalog (see photograph 5).

The round leather disks are riveted together. The belt has suede fringe on each end which you tie together to close the belt. There is no buckle.

The pink belt is in very good condition showing typical wear for vintage accessory. There are some marks on the pink leather disks and some areas where the pink is pinker.

Metallurgy of Copper is a cool old vintage book. Filled with interesting information about copper, its properties, and production, you could learn a thing or two from this vintage science book, or use it as library decor or a photo prop.

The volume is packed with great science and technology illustrations and has a pull-out diagram of a Cananea or Shelby blast furnace as well as a pull-out table "Details of Principal Blast-Furnaces for Treating Copper Ores."

The book is in good condition. There are some marks on the cover & browning to the endpapers. The gold title lettering on the spine is clear and in good condition. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. There is a property stamp on the front right-handside endpaper:

Vintage Grace Holmes Club Plan mail order catalog for fall winter 1958 - 1959 contains a treasure trove of information on mid-century clothing for men, women, & children, underwear, toys, electronics, housewares, furniture, lamps, bedding,and general household and personal items.

The glossy magazine-type catalog has 318 pages and includes a handy index.

The catalog is in remarkable condition, but it does show wear mostly around the edges and at the top and bottom of the spine. The cover has a few small tears most notably on the front cover bottom edge. The pages are clean.

In this collectible paper box, you'll find a set of G. A. Glafey St Peter Nacht Lichte floating candles. The set includes tiny wax candles with flower surrounds, a metal and cork flotation devise, and tin tweezers.

The wonderful paper box has a beautiful graphic of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and is marked "Made in Germany."

Box is in very good condition. Not sure if this is a complete set. The box contains about 35 tiny candles.

Vintage 1970s fabric sample with an American Revolutionary War motif, the textile design includes brown, orange, & gold cannons, masted ships, colonial houses, the Liberty Bell, drums, and eagles on a sage green background.

There is no content label, but the fabric feels like cotton and has a nice weight to it.

Fabric is in very good condition. It appears to have once been part of textile upholstery or curtain fabric sample book. One side of the fabric has a decorative stitched edge and the opposite side has a series of twelve very small holes about 1 1/2" in from the edge where it had once been attached to something.

Super 1970s vintage silk screened textile by House N Home Fabric & Draperies, this generous sized remnant is big enough for a multitude of sewing or craft projects. The intricate botanical paisley print has various shades of brown, muted orange, rust, gold & sage. Look closely in the pattern and you'll see little butterflies.

This fabric is heavy, and although it is not marked cotton, my guess is that it is woven from cotton.

There is about 1/2" of selvedge on each side of the fabric. One selvedge edge is marked:
