Wind this mechanical watch and the golf ball circles the dial ticking off the seconds as it goes. The golf ball appears to float, but if you look closely, you'll see that instead of a traditional sweeping second hand, the ball is on a plastic disk that rotates.

Made by the Lafayette Watch Co in Switzerland, this cool golf themed wrist watch would make a great gift for a golf enthusiast or watch collector.

The watch is vintage and was worn and enjoyed by its previous owner. The gold-tone metal casing shows wear particularly on the back. There are a few scratches on the crystal face. The faux-lizard leather watch band shows wear, also particularly on the back, and the gold-tone coating not the metal buckle is worn and has a deep patina of age.

This is a mechanical watch meaning you must wind it up for it to run (being careful not to over wind it). It does not run on a battery. The watch is currently in working condition.

Santa Claus holds up a honeycomb tissue paper Christmas tree in this vintage Danish Amscan greeting card.

Once part of a salesman's sample book, the card is marked "Made in Denmark" on the back of the tree. The accompanying hand tag card has a red printing sample in lettering style no. 640 and is marked "Henri Fayette Chicago U.S.A." on the back. The card has its original metal clip to hold the honeycomb tree open.

Measurements: Santa is approximately 6 1/4" tall x 4"; The tree has a 4" diameter when fully open.

The card is in good condition. The piece has wear along the edges. Santa's foot has a crease and the edge of his coat is peeling up. Please see photographs for more information about condition.

Charming antique floral & gold embossed leather notebook set comes with its original bone clutch lead pencil. The small journal has notations for European hotels, and the names and addresses of people in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, St. Petersburg, & London. The set appears to have been a gift from mother to daughter given back in 1897.

The small notebook has two sets of notations. The first set of notations (5 pages) is dated May 1897. The second set (2 pages) is dated 1900. Most of the journal's gold-edged pages are blank. The autograph book is inscribed "For Edith with my dearest love April 2nd 1897 Mother."

The Barton Court Hotel - Milton on the Sea
The Gordon Hotel - Southborne, Christchurch

This beautiful purse-size leather journal is in amazing condition for its age, but does has some issues. The purple front & back silk endpaper linings are split. The leather is supple but does have some soiling most notably on the spine. The bone-handled clutch lead pencil has a small chip near the clutch barrel and some pitting. It does not contain any graphite. The metal clasp is in working order and looks as if it might at one time had a key.

This is a small notebook measuring approximately 4 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches x 1/2 inch. The pencil is approximately 4 1/2 inches long.

The autograph book is in good condition and has beautiful gold & black endpapers. Some pages have been torn out of the front of the notebook which has weakened the spine. In addition to the inscription mentioned above, the book contains the remnants of dried flowers between two pages near the back of the volume along with the notation "Flowers from the Wartburg. June 4th 1897."

The autograph book measures 7 inches x 4 3/8 inches x 1/2 inch.

The notebooks are hallmarked "Brüder Leichtman Aus. Wein -- Karlsbad, Budapest."

Vintage Hair Style of the Month poster captures the essence of 1960s chic in this gorgeous portrait of a stylish woman.

Published in Chicago by Hair Style of the Month, this original poster was produced for display in hair and beauty salons across the United States. The poster is printed on sturdy coated paper and has an image on both sides.

This poster was displayed in a Chicago salon and remarkably shows very little wear. One side of the double-sided poster is slightly faded from the sun (see photographs 2 & 4). The edges are in good condition showing minor wear. There is type residue on the each side of the poster near the top. The poster was stored rolled up for many years. A professional picture framer should be able to transform this poster into a beautiful wall hanging.

Poster is marked "Hair Style of the Month, Chicago, Illinois."

Measurements: 20" x 16".

This pair of beautiful antique gesso picture frames are perfect accessories for a shabby chic decor look.

These are genuine antique frames circa 1910. Each wooden oval frame looks to have been carved out of a single piece of wood.

The frames are in very good condition. The painted gesso finished has a few small chips, most notably on the wider frame. There is an old wire hanger attached to the wider frame. Neither frame includes glass.

The small religious book has a flexible black cover, gold gilt page edges, and a ribbon bookmark.

This is a genuine vintage book from the 1940s. It is in very good condition. The ribbon bookmark is fraying at the end. Black endpapers show some discoloring. Slight exposure of binding at title page. Binding is tight.

Five (5) vintage photography memory booklets are a nifty way to capture your school days. These keepsake memento photo albums are a simple folded card with cartoon figures depicting the classic school personalties such as "My Favorite Teacher," "The Class Queen," "Big Shot," among others.

The cartoons are so sweet and very retro. Manufactured by National School Studios, Inc, circa1950s, these charming booklets are in great condition for their age. Three of them are smooth card stock and are slightly yellowed. Two of them are textured card stock, are slightly narrower, and have yellowed a bit more.

These type face visualizers, dated 1948 and 1950, were included in the Eighth & Ninth Graphic Arts Production Yearbooks published by the Colton Press. The cards were meant to be used with the "Composite Type Face Directory" included in each year book.

Listing is for four four-page visualizers.

The visualizers are printed on heavy paper card stock. They are in good condition showing typical wear and signs of aging including some soiling and yellowing particularly around the edges.

I knew instinctively that this was a special vintage green velvet dress, but when I turned it inside out and found the small Blue Eagle National Recovery Act label, I knew I was holding a very rare piece of garment industry history.

This dress is simply amazing. Beautifully cut and tailored, the circa 1930s velvet gown has front draping with a velvet-covered draping weight at the neckline (the weight hangs inside the dress creating the neckline drape), puffed sleeves, bias cut, floating train back panel, an open back with a tie at the neck, and a back rhinestone belt buckle.

The small National Recovery Act label is sewn in along one of the inside side seams.

The NRA Blue Eagle Label was only used from 1933 to 1935. Initiated by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the National Recovery Act (also known as the National Industrial Recovery Act) was part of the New Deal which sought to improve working conditions, raise the minimum wage, and thus help the United States pull through the Great Depression.

This gown would be an amazing addition to an antique and vintage clothing collection. It is in good condition. The dress was on display in a workshop. The green velvet shows sun fading mostly on the front giving the green velvet a slightly brownish tint in certain light. The gown is clean and has no tears. There are two small pin holes, most likely from a brooch, directly underneath the neck draping. The velvet has some small areas of crushing most noticeably on the front below the bodice and under the arms. One side of the belt buckle is missing most of its rhinestones, and the other side has a noticeable number of stones missing as well.

The dress is small and is shown on a 36 1/2" bust, 25" waist, 35" hip dress model. The dress fits the model through the bust and hips with negative ease.

A colorful assortment of over 140 vintage miniature glass ornaments arranged in a vintage E.O. Brody green glass compote candy dish makes an amazing Christmas centerpiece.

The miniature glass ornaments are of various small sizes ranging from a mere 1/2 inch diameter to 1 1/4 inch diameter.

Some of the ornaments have metal caps marked "Japan."

Classic mid-century art glass bowl in the Murano style, has a striking free-form shape and rich orangey red coloration fading to a pale amber.

Most likely originally intended to be used as a large ashtray, this lovely bowl can be used as a candy dish, nut bowl, or simply as an accent piece on a modern coffee table.

The glass bowl is in very good vintage condition. It has no chips and no cracks, but does have a few light scratches from wear along with a few internal bubbles from the manufacturing process.

Measures 11 1/8 across inches at its widest point.

The glass is very thick and heavy.
