Amazing 2 ft tall hand-painted wood folk art Santa Claus, this vintage Christmas decoration will become a family favorite. Beautifully rendered on a wooden board, Santa can be a wall hanging or propped up on a table display.

Santa is in remarkable condition for a vintage hand-painted plaque. He has a few dings and scratches and 4 tiny holes on his coat near the trim where tacks or small nails may have been at some point. His back has traces of some type of fabric-like or paper material and a red thumb tack.

Santa stands 2 feet tall and is 16 3/8" at his widest point. The board is 1/4" thick.

Beautiful example of California pottery made by Wade of California in the 1960s. The fabulous modern spiral shape is predominantly avocado green with swirls of mint green.

Originally intended as an ashtray, the dish can be used to serve tidbits or candies. Imagine it filled with orange goldfish crackers!

The bowl is in very good vintage condition. No cracks. No chips.

Wade Ceramics produced pottery in North Hollywood between 1965 and 1967. This piece is marked "Wade of Calif. U.S.A." along with the number "700."

Dish measures approximately 91/2" x 7 1/2" at its widest points and stands 1 1/2" high.

The European Recovery Program (ERP) or Marshall Plan (1948 - 1951), conceived by George C. Marshall, Army Chief of Staff during WW II & Truman's Secretary of State, sought to politically stabilize & rebuild the economies of war-torn European countries while hindering the spread of Communism.

Held in 1950, the Intra-European Cooperation for a Better Standard of Living poster contest, drew over 10,000 entries. A panel of graphic artists from the countries benefiting from the Marshall Plan selected 25 winning posters. The posters are graphically stunning pieces of political propaganda and historically interesting bits of ephemera from the early Cold War era.

This poster is an original poster, not a reproduction. The poster is in excellent vintage condition with just some minor wear around the edges. The poster has been stored flat and will be shipped to you flat via USPS.

Written by Carla Greene and illustrated by Katherine Evans, this child's career book is part of a series published in the late 1950s and early 1960s by the Children's Press. The green cloth binding has black lettering & yellow graphics of children dressed in the clothing for various careers, such as a fireman, doctor, teacher, cowboy, seamstress, baker, and football player.

Book is in good condition for a 50+ year-old children's book that was used in a public school system. The cloth binding is fraying at the edges and has worn away completely at the top and base of the spine. Binding is tight. Pages are clean. Book has a date (May 29, 1961) and Cedar Grove, N.J. Board of Education stamp on the front right-hand side endpaper.

Designed to fit on long candle tappers, these vintage Christmas wreath candle huggers are a throwback to Christmases past. Popular in the 1950s, ceramic candle huggers from the that era were manufactured in Japan for the American market.

This sweet set of candle huggers is in very good condition and would lend a nice retro holiday touch to your Christmas table. The huggers have no chips or cracks. Each hugger has some minor paint loss.

Wreaths are approximately 2" tall. The hugger loop has approximately 3/4" diameter.

Serve your after dinner coffee on Christmas in this silver plate coffee pot for a dramatic finish to your festive feast. Made by Birmingham Silver, this beautiful silver on copper server has the classic shape of a silver coffee pot but it can be used for coffee or tea. Silver-plate coffee pots are traditional favorites that are both functional and decorative.

This pot dates from the 1940s and bears the Birmingham Silver hallmark. It is also marked "Silver on Copper."

The silver plating, and the coffee pot in general, are in very good condition. I shined it up a bit, but left a bit of the nice patina of age particularly on the feet, handle and spout. Should you choose, this pot should polish up to a high shine.

The coffee pot is approximately 11 1/2" tall by 11 1/4" wide including the spout and handle, by 6" at its deepest.

Snowy pinecone clip-on earrings with original decorative packaging card marked "Merry Chirstmas" with bell motif and lady with a parasol, the curiosity of the card is almost as intriguing as the intricate detail on the pine boughs and cones.

The pine boughs are obviously plastic, although it is very difficult to discern if they are molded or carved. I don't believe these are celluloid. They could be Bubbleite. They are very light weight.

The pinecones are so realistic--I've examined them under a loop, that I ponder the possibility that they are real pinecones that have been dipped in a brownish gold paint. Please note that there is a little bit of green on the pinecones. There are sparkles embedded on the white plastic boughs and the pinecones.

Never worn, these earrings are in very good vintage condition. The gold-tone clip-back is marked "Japan." The style dates these earring to the 1950s.

Comes in a gift box ready for giving.

Card Dimenstions: 3" x 2 7/8" Card has some creasing and yellowing.

Awesome Grace Taylor Original two-piece women's suit has a short sleeve green dress with coordinating green & silver gray brocade coat. Very vintage, yet very wearable, you'll look chic and pulled together in splendid retro 1960s style.

The dress and coat came out of the estate of an obsessive clotheshorse who left behind decades of amazing clothes in her estate. This coat dress ensemble may never have been worn. The coat has two small original paper tags inside at the base of the button holes & on the bottom hem, identifying the suit as a 1960s size 16. Both the coat and dress have Ladies Garment Workers Union labels.

I could find no fiber content labels. The dress and coat fabric feel like polyester.

The lovely coat is fully lined with satin taffeta, five (5) front buttons, and lapel and cuff detailing.

Rare Commonwealth Plastic Corp. world globe bank has a 4 1/2 inch diameter and brightly colored oceans and continents.

Made in Leominister, Massachusetts, this small vintage globe is made of plastic. It has a weighted base (sounds like the base is filled with sand) and a coin slot in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean.

This simplified world globe shows country designations (including several antiqued terms) but no cities.

The globe can be dated to the early 1950s.

Vintage porcelain goose & gander pair would make a lovely wedding, anniversary, or housewarming gift for a loving couple.

The pre-World War II ceramic wild geese figures have nice detailing and are marked "Germany" on the bottom in green. One of the figurines is also impressed with the number "7872."

The geese are made from fine porcelain and are quite old -- circa 1920s - 1930s. The figurines are in good vintage condition. One of the figurines has a production flaw -- small patch of rough porcelain -- near the tail (see photograph two, goose on the right).

Vintage bride and groom cake topper from the 1940s is the perfect bridal accessory for the vintage loving couple. The bisque figures have puckered lips as if they are ready to kiss. The bride has a classic 1940s hairstyle.

Cake topper is in good vintage condition. No chips. No cracks. The bride's veil netting is browned from age. The figures are bisque, not finely finished porcelain. Please look closely at the photographs.

The dark teal green color of this small vintage U.S.A. pottery flower pot reminds me of the paint color of my neighbor's circa 1960s Ford Galaxie.

The small pottery planter has a floral design and lovely detailing, and was made for indoor use. The flower pot is marked "U.S.A." on the bottom.

The flower planter is in good condition with no chips and no cracks. The piece has a few imperfections on the glaze from the manufacturing process.

Imported from Italy by the Overseas Housewares Co., Yonkers, N.Y., this circa 1970s one-cup In-Genia drip coffee pot has never been used, and comes in part of its original box.

The aluminum coffee pot will brew one cup of drip coffee. The pot is designed to sit on top of your cup and brews coffee by the pour over method.

The polished aluminum pot is in unused vintage condition. Shows shelf ware. The base is bent slightly in a small section which does not effect functionality.

Coffee pot is marked "Italy" on the bottom.

Top of the original box is missing.
